Reminds me when the UPN (now bankrupt network) suits ORDERED all their show to do some sort of aids related show.
Even foisted the manure on Enterprise.
Some suit somewhere must have ordered the editors to do this in all their magazines.
For most people Sports illustrated exists only once a year. Once the swim suit hype passes it goes back to oblivion.
This issues has successfully reduced all professional sports into the same fiction as wrestling.
Boy howdy, talk about not knowing your audience.
Anyone remember all the years of drought and heat we had in the 1980s? Man, I do. I was a little kid helping my parents out on the strawberry farm. Just waves of Japanese beatles on scorched, cracked earth. Heat and humidity like you wouldn't believe. We haven't had summers like that in ages. They've all been far more mild. And there was no swow where I was at for 5 or more years. We've had it every year now for several years on end.
It just amazes me how this global warming nonsense has taken off. Now any minor swing in the weather is seen as a guarantee that it's happening. We're speaking of a very prolonged, massive time scale if we're talking global warming. The hysterics seem to have been able to dump that bit of reason and just scream from the rooftops over a single hot summer.
I heard a guy today on the radio say that it's been warm in NY this winter and that proves global warming. I'm interested in finding out what the 100 year average is, not the 10 year average.
I just want the damn forecast.

The Envirowackos are getting desperate. They see the writing on the wall. More and more real scientist are coming forward to say this is a scam. More and more economist are coming forward to say how this will destroy our economy as well. If they don't grab total control in the next year or two GW is over. Then they will have to find a new issue. Just like they did after global cooling, acid rain, DDT, Rain Forest, over population, .........
Oh good lord.

Wow. Looks like they're ready to jump the shark.
In fact I think I see a fin in the outfield already.
It's one of my top five, but it never seemed to get the kudos of the Airplane! movies.
It may not have started out as one, but it certainly is now. This could be one of the best photo shop contests in awhile!
