LOS ANGELES (Reuters) - An Iraqi national wearing wires and concealing a magnet inside his rectum triggered a security scare at Los Angeles International Airport on Tuesday but officials said he posed no apparent threat.

This is a test, had this been a real threat we would have disarmed him there before he boarded the plane.
Yes they are checking us out, probing us if you like. But now we know him and will check out his past travels and contacts and before you know someone will just be gone.

Dittoes to all comments so far. Anyone who thinks this event was anything but a 'dry run' is stupid and irresponsible. Maybe both. The law enforcement official who approved this press release should be fired. Even better, he should be castrated so he cannot pass this stupidity on to another generation.
