All over America, women are being demeaned by the self-aggrandizing of our political leaders. Our talents, our experience, and our values, used all these many years to build a better future for our communities and our country, are being overlooked or downplayed to suit the needs of a Hillary-come-lately. There are more women in the House, the Senate, state legislatures, and governors' mansions today than at any time in our history, but women have always ruled this country from our kitchen tables and our beds. To suggest that election to higher office is somehow more important than the role that everyday women have played since the founding of Jamestown is nothing less than disgraceful. We're speaking out with a powerful voice -- in 2004, 9 million more women voted than men, which is a sad commentary on how we are raising our sons.

Hillary believes she is poised to make history as the first woman to occupy the White House. What a sad commentary on her very expensive education. Women have occupied the White House since Abigail Adams first moved in. Imagine the pride each of us will feel on Inauguration Day as we watch a true advocate for the people- ALL the people- take the oath of office. Imagine the message that symbol will send to young women: the Fourteenth Amendment has been in effect for nearly 140 years. Stop making excuses based on your gender and start taking charge of your life!
