Particularly after Wells showed that Russert's memory is absolutely horrible, how could anyone convict Libby on he said/she said testimony involving Russert?

It appears Libby got really bad legal advice here, and should have taken the stand. I think Libby's lawyer already saw the verdict stacked against them and was just preparing for the inevitable appeal. No point in having Libby testify now.
