The early bus really caught us by suprise. Unfortunately, the moonbats hadnt yet left when the bus passed. Hopefully our wounded hereos didnt have to see the half-dozen scum bags from Code Pink. Luckily, those on the bus were looking out their windows and waving to all of us on the FOUR corners waving the flags and holding signs of support.
None of these soldiers who have sacrificed so much should have to witness these low-life and despicable maggots.

Outstanding all, I can't thank you guys enough. I hope to see you soon. I'm trying to get down the day before the 17th.

Zoomie81 and family were the only CPACers, though several other regular Walter Reed FReepers went to CPAC.
But Zoomie's kids were a real treat. Their enthusiasm put a pleasant smile on everyone's face.

"Milestone FREEP 100 is the Friday before the March 17 Rally. If you'll be in D.C. come on by. We'll have plenty of Support the Troop signs for everyone." The 100th WR FReep? WOW! I'm riding up with FReeper SheWolf and I'm INSISTING we be up there in time to FReep with you guys. I AM PUMPED ABOUT GOE!
I still need a place to stay that night since I'm doing this on the cheap. I'm allergic to dogs and cats so I can't stay where there's pets. Can anyone help a KY FReeper out?

Thanks so much for the ping. Great AARs, great photos (I loved seeing some of our troops come out to join you), and I really thought this was a wonderful exchange:
I said telling a soldier that you don't like him doing what he's doing is much the same as telling a fireman you don't like them putting out fires, telling a cop you don't like them catching criminals. They had never thought of it that way.
Of course, the fact that they asked you to give them a flag for free rather than asking what they could do to help you support our wounded instantly marked them as lefties (to me, at least), but at least they listened and perhaps will grow a little from this interaction.
God bless you all for the wonderful work you do supporting our wounded heros.

I meant to come back here and say, "Hi, Mrs T!" It got so busy at work today... as every day.
Thanks to Mr T also for his report. You DC Chapter FReepers have given the soldiers a big boost and a lifetime memory that will always stay in their hearts... more than you know.

Moab is also a town in Utah!
In context of the DC Rally, MOAB = Mother Of All Banners.

I'm getting tired sending care packages to the troops after watching this!
http://www.armychic256bde.com/id42.html
I'm just joking....but our wounded warriors should not live in conditions like in Building 18! Even if its only one building.
Can anyone help me?
I want to donate to a reputable organization that really help out our disabled warriors. I don't want donate to an organization that spends their hard cash on administration fees and for lawyers....if you know what I mean.
