I consider people who comment on other people's personal problems, as though they know who is or who are at fault when the plain fact is they are talking through their hat, to be violating the Biblical rule regarding backbiting.
Well excuuuuuuussssseeeee Meeeeeeee.
The fact that I think adulterous gun-grabbing two-timing cradle-robbing cross-dressing abortion proponents ought not to be considered for the office of President of the United States is, I guess, my personal problem.
So' I'd appreciate it if you stopped your backbiting.
You mistake me for a Rudy supporter. I'm a Rudy tolerator.
Yep....and you are perfect.
Oh no, lol, I missed that story. I don't remember the daughter at all, though, she must keep a low profile. I know that Donna was the talk of the town as her behavior was generally considered pretty bizarre.
I didn't remember her either, just the little boy acting up. I had not realized that he could be 21 now, so that's been a long time ago and I had not realized how long.
It's just that simple. Hahahah. Very funny!
...mote...log...
Maybe because I know WE ARE ALL SINNERS. We have ALL FALLEN SHORT.
Some of you blue-haired, pearl-wearing old biddies act like you never heard of REPENTANCE or FORGIVENESS.
All great points!
Rudys personal life is really biting him in the ass.
Lousy grammar, swearing, and forgetting that two of Reagan's kids were an embarrassment and at times estranged from him and it didn't seem to hurt his presidency any.
Amazing the revision of history that goes on around here on occasion, especially when it comes to memories of Ronald Reagan. I too loved the man, but he had flaws too. Someone earlier on this thread said he didn't have multiple divorces.....I guess one is okay, but not two? We'll be needing a scorecard..... ;>)
Well, good for Rudy that his son isn't a member of the lacrosse team. Imagine what kind of joy that would bring to the likes of CBS.
And do you really think that Chelsea is on good terms with Bubba and Tubba?
Although I'm not a huge Giuliani fan, this CBS article is entirely irrelevant to 2008 presidential race. Its obvious purpose is to siphon off "conservative" support from him.
Let's decide the GOP nomination and the general election on the basis of positions on the important public issues, not on a candidate's personal relationship with his son.
As a Duncan Hunter supporter I am choosing not to engage in debate on this Rudy Giuliani thread on Free Republic. As a freeper I am disappointed that there are fans of a liberal presidential candidate trying to push socially liberal views on this socially conservative forum. In particular, I have noticed that the Rudy G fans do not answer posts questioning the qualitative substance of their candidate, or the posts are met merely with insults.

Rudy Giuliani: "Yes I believe, I believe it is."
Cnn Clip December 2, 1999:

Rudy Giuliani : "No, I have not supported that, and I don't see my position on that changing."
Immigration

Gun control:
CNN clip

ABC Clip: "I supported domestic partnership legislation and signed it"

First Amendment:
ABC Clip
Cokie Roberts: "Would you vote in the senate in favor of Mccain / Feingold?"
Rudy Giuliani: "Yes, I'm a big supporter of Mccain / Feingold. I have been for a long time."
Party Loyalty:
ABC Clip:
Rudy Giuliani: "Frankly George, I'd like to run on all the lines. I'd like to run on the liberal line, the conservative line, I'd like to run on the democratic line if I could figure out how to do it."
Conservative Values:
Meet The Press:
Tim Russert: "Whether it's gays in the military, gun control, campaign finance, late term abortion - you and Hillary Clinton are in sync on those issues."
Rudy Giuliani: "Well then maybe the other side should stop the 'He's part of the vast right wing conspiracy'."
Welcome To CPAC, Rudy!
End clip.
You are pathetic!
Its hard to tell. Anyway, sorry for the confusion on my part.
I and many of my friends are Rudy Intolerators. I do not think he has the winning power that many say he has ( 20% of Republicans will not vote for him, how can he be a winner in that case?), and even if I did have, I still wouldn't ever vote for him on any ticket.
I suggest we should compare our leaders to Reagan and you protest stating "don't tell me what to do" and then proceed to tell ME what to do. LOL.
I realize there are people who are happy with electing a RINO NY mayor as President. But some of us have higher standards in regard to the primary. Once the primary is done we should all rally around the Republican nominee. But until then we should push for as conservative a nominee as we can get. This is primary election Presidential politics 101.
The polls will turn? Over this? Over spoiled children? Don't hold your breath.
You said "Don't tell me what 'we' should do. I don't do that. "
