Well about 20 years ago, I learned this the hard way. I was really good at my job, and I knew a lot more than the New People that were in the State agency that was overseeing our Law Enforcement Agency's Computer checks on "Wanted" anything. I did not think I phrased my answer in a snotty, sarcastic, know it all way, but apparently she did and so did my Supervisor. Jeeze, what a hullabaloo that stirred up, and I have always since that time low keyed everything so as not to make anyone that receives my correspondence feel dissed or insulted. If a Liberal Democrat is at the other end that is different.... LOL! You can only be misconstrued if you do not imagine that what you just typed could be said face to face without leading to fisticuffs. It is so much nicer to be able to look into someones eyes when you are communicating. Well, that is in the future.

I have a similar recipe to that no rum but it has a almond brittle topping.

Remember that conventional wisdom about Reagan in the DBM also related smarmy things about what his legacy would be during his two terms in office. They mostly have a more favorable opinion about him today. If the situation in Iraq gets better by the end of his second term GWB's favorability ratings might improve.

The current "surge" in Iraq may help, but I am not convinced that it will at this point, and neither are knowledgable mil bloggers, who are looking at a very long time to stabilize the country. President Bush was right when he said in effect we are in a "long" war. That will be true who matter who is the next occupant of the White House.

I looked up after posting that post about Obama giving the speech...and Al Sharpton was standing right behind him.

I wonder if Obama knows what Sharpton said at HIS church???

They are going to go back to Selma when "it is Hillary's turn"..to speak.

I wonder if they will show Bubba's entrance into the Civil Rights Hall of Fame or whatever he is getting today.

:-) Too true. Only last year, CBS Newswatch published a story that in fact, nutritionally, ketchup is a vegetable.

Bwhahahahahhhahaa

That had to hurt.

LOL

Try soaking them in Bacardi's Limon! Delicious in cakes and strudels.

Kudlow came on and took the opposite stand..and said that our economy is great because of our trade..and to cut off trade with China would harm us....blah, blah

He's right .. because their labor is so cheap

Though if we didn't do it with China .. it would be some other backwards country

Mainly because the average american can't afford the unions
