This message resonates with most Americans. I hope he is allowed to get it out where the people can hear it. They will like what they hear from Hunter.
GO DUNCAN HUNTER!!!

Losing to rock star Rudy by a whisker in SC's straw poll last night can't hurt.
AND, he won the Arizona straw poll.

In fact, Lardy and others argue, China's success last year at banking a surplus of over $230 billion in its two-way trade in goods with the United States has enabled the Chinese to bankroll the U.S. Treasury to the tune of hundreds of billions of dollars to finance the budget deficit. As a side effect, China's loans have kept both U.S. taxes and interest rates lower than they might otherwise have been, some economists argue. If you can heal the symptoms
But not affect the cause
It's quite a bit like trying to heal

I am so disappointed that Hunter is not listed on the
C-SPAN schedule from CPAC! Hope at least to read the transcript of his speech.

Glad to see someone from the GOP coming back to it's roots.
Duncan, RLTW!

I know they will. If it weren't for the fact that I despise democrats I would be a Reagan democrat. I'm hearing a lot of talk about Hunter in the stores and resturants in my part of Michigan.

One might ask....why does China need a huge military buildup?
Against whom might this be aimed?
In addition to a military buildup China has a time bomb demographic problem. Too many men, not enough women. Not enough women to marry and keep those men busy, at home, and making kidlets.
An entire generation of young "unoccupied" males is a dangerous thing.

Precisely.
A small point the free trade zealots here and elsewhere miss.
Most conservatives are for FreeTrade, but not CheatTrade, particularly from the dangerous ChiComs.

According to the latest results I could find on the SC straw poll (curiously, the media doesn't seem to be paying much attention to this yet...), We've got:
Giuliani: 158 (24%)
Hunter: 152 (23%)
McCain: 116 (17.6%)
Brownback: 83 (12.6%)
Romney: 80 (12.12%)
Huckabee: 21 (3.2%)
Note: Not knowing how many other votes were cast for lesser candidates, I assumed that another 50-odd votes were cast and applied the percentages above.
This result is simply stunning, especially considering the MSM push-polls are showing Rudy to be in the +40% range and Hunter to be in the single digits.
What does this mean? It means, that when people actually have to get down to voting, even a relative unknown like Hunter is coming close to taking out liberal Rudy.
Excellent, excellent news!
