LOL! The analogy was general. I stand second to none as a Yankees' fan. I grew up on 170th Street in The Bronx. That's less than a mile from The Stadium. I spent a lot of time there growing up in the 50's and 60's.

"A Catholic who is pro-abortion is like a Red Sox' fan who roots for the Yankees. Even when the Yankees are playing the Red Sox."
Or like Hillary, who's always been a Yankees fan, even when she roots for the Cubs.

do you have the backbone to excommunicate her? We'll never know, since he lacks the authority to do so. Ecclesiastically, Mizzzz Pelosi is 'subject' to the Bishop of San Francisco, and probably also to the Archbishop of Washington (DC). So we should be praying for them to have the wisdom and courage to handle the situation properly.

Are Catholics willing to overlook this in regards to Rudy Guilianni? I've asked this question on many threads and received no replies. Sadly, many Catholics separate faith from politics. They choose 'not to agree' with what is preached to them from the pulpits each Sunday, with regard to their culpability in voting for 'pro-choice' politicians. It's not that they don't get the message; they simply choose to ignore it. It's the old adage: "You can lead a horse to water but you can't make him drink".

That's sad to hear. I don't see how one can stand by and watch their religious values and freedoms being eroded away without as much as a whimper.
Thank for replying, the silence was deafening.
