He's either getting bad advice or he's wishy washy and either one shows a lack of judgment.

I think folks like Mit, Rudi, and sometimes even McCain (I just aint sure about him) anyway these folks are professional politicians.

They are in the habit of telling us what we want to hear and doing what the people who pay them the most money want them to do.

You can expect this from all of them. I think Hunter is more of a straight shooter. Or I think that Hunter is more of a Conservative at heart.

Anyway, the way a candidate feels depends upon who they are talking too.

Way to go Hunter.
Truely with so little
help from MSM?

Very good showing for
Duncan. Glad to see
this, since I can't
ever vote for Rudy
for all the reasons
most core conservatives
know.

I agree with some of that, pissant, and I know that China is becoming a problem on several levels. But an anti-trader like Hunter could do great damage to the economy and I'm not sure he has the finesse to work his way through all the issues surrounding this matter.

Having said that, I've watched Hunter on C-Span and he handles himself well and is bright. Also, I think the powers that be in the GOP would take him aside and persuade him to change his mind about some of those issues in exchange for more support from the GOP.

Gertz has written about these issues regarding China and he's one of the few reporters I actually have respect for in DC.

And Rudy, unlike Hunter and a few others, didn't even have teams on the ground there, working for him. This IS a very good sign and one which belies all of the crazy posts that claim that NOBODY in the South will ever vote for Rudy.

Neewbee, I have seen your prior hit pieces.

I am always so amused by these hacks that come on here and try to tell us what's going on, like we haven't seen a million trolls before.

I spotted one earlier today and, sure enough, it's banned.

"Yes! That's the BIG news of the night. Rudy was supposed to lose big in SC - *true* conservatives would never support him etc etc . Rudy won. That's really big news!"

I guess the GOP has been hijacked by a bunch of liberals since Rudy won in South Carolina? "HA!"

But an anti-trader like Hunter could do great damage to the economy

Exactly how? By forcing China to end a one-sided trade relationship by opening up their own markets? In other words, the way free trade is SUPPOSED to work?

Ugh. You had to take away my joy and bring up Lindsey. LOL

My husband about strokes out when his name is mentioned.

And we were at a huge party once and someone holding the floor accepting a golf award mentioned Lindsey in some strange context and the entire crowd started muttering about Lindsey and how they wanted him gone.

Our former GOP chairwoman used to stand up for him but when I saw her a few months ago she did nothing but trash him.

McCain is mentally unbalanced.

Yah, THAT'S clearly a non-emotional, logical and reasonable response. :rolls eyes:

McCain may be a hothead, and he might not have the temperment to be President, but come on, give me a break. Giuliani is known for having a temper too.

Kansas Sen. Sam Brownback had 83 votes, former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney had 80 votes and Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee rounded out the front-runners with 21 votes.

Nah, I expected Giulianni to get 1st in this one. Hunter came closer that I expected (in terms of votes, not position). McCain not getting 1st or 2nd isn't surprising considering how much damage he did to himself in this area in his last campaign. Anyway, a good place to start. :)

Have you watched the video where Rudy wishes he could run as a Democrat yet?

I watched it; it's pretty telling when you have to lie about what people can see with their own eyes.
