"The district has a statutory duty to protect gay students from harassment," the district's lawyers argued in a legal brief. That school administration couldn't be any gayer if you put nipple clamps on it.

I'm assuming the other kids didn't get in trouble for making fun of her Mormon beliefs?
What if she meant "that is so happy?" that is what the word actually means.
I have a lot of old old sheet music. The word gay in it's real meaning is everywhere

I'm making it official... it's long past time to take the word gay back to it's original meaning. ;-)

You know those PC "Take back the night" rallies?
We could have a FReeper "Take back the gay" rally.

"But school officials say they took a strict stand against the putdown after two boys were paid to beat up a gay student the year before."
WTF has that to do with Ms. Rice??? Sheesh!

What if she had said, innocently, "why, what a queer thing to say!" Probably, like using the word 'niggardly', she would have gotten in trouble anyway. Rules are for right wingers.

I'm with ya Brother. But i'm still not saying that I'll be gay today. I just can't. I didn't think it would be easy considering the many years I've spent studying the subject. But now that I've said it out loud, sort of, and it's out on this forum, it's getting easier everytime. In fact I'm feeling pretty gay about saying last weekend was a gay old time, in the same context as the Flintstones theme song.

Wow, those are some pretty disgusting turns of phrasing. You don't happen to write those "Dear Penthouse, I never thought this would happen to me..." letters for a living do you?

I hate, loathe and despise the word "closure" If anyone uses that word to me, I'm suing 'em. Psst...your pants closure is open.
