Moral values are so . . . yesterday. At least in the GOP.

Or maybe they shouldn't be dictated by a federal bureaucracy.

Why should the right panic about Rudy? Because the MSM and their pollsters tell us too?

I'm not panicked but I'm not optimistic about his chances. If the GOP keeps touching the hot stove they're bound to learn something......eventually.

I know of no one who is in a state of panic.
I am simply waiting for the pro-aborts to find out on election day that we are not with them.

Not to worry. If Rudy Knocks everyone else out, Newt will jump in. And, he will have been immunized from his women problems....

What panic?
Rudy's has strong support amongst plenty of conservatives as well.
To: madprof98
Oh , I agree,, They are so passe'... and so is a party platform and its planks, now its something you stand on, and not run on these days.

Conservatives like me will moan, groan and complain about the lack of a true conservative in the Presidential race as of yet.
But come Nov 2008, I'll vote one time, straight Republican ticket.
I just pray that by then we have a 'good' candidate to defeat Slick's wife.

Moral values are so . . . yesterday. At least in the GOP.Whose morality? Folks on the left think it's immoral to prohibit gay marriage and that those that oppose it are guilty of the sin of bigotry. They also think it's immoral to deny resources to the poor so now we have government enforced charity.
But the problem I have with Rudy is his basing of Reagan and Goldwater.
There'd be no GOP if not for those men.

I don't think so. The Dems are in a much better position given the political climate.

As in rally racing ( such as the Dakar Rally, New England Forest Rally or New York International Rally ), the car that leads at the beginning is often a DNF (Did Not Finish).
Rally Racing has sports cars traveling on winding blacktop, dirt and logging roads at speeds of up to 130 MPH.
Often the fastest in the first few stages is found destroyed against a tree or rock long before the finish.
Rally races are usually around 17 or so stages, making up over 250 miles of grueling, bone pounding racing over 250 miles.
The Dakar is usually 17 or more days of racing, this year from Portugal to Mid-western Africa (Dakar).
Just finishing is a major accomplishment.
In my opinion, Rudy is the fast, yet fragile car, the debris of which is found about half way through the race, wrapped around a tree.
