Crosby Stills Nash & Young need another hit record.

Yeah, I know. Neither will ever happen and I'm thankful for both. However, I wouldn't mind seeing this professor at the business end of a 2x4.

For all interested. I'm from the Cleveland area and a local talk show host, Bob Frantz spent the morning stirring this one up. He's looking at some ways to go after the University.
Some of the things mentioned on the show:
Caller claimed that when military recruiters visit campus, students organize and form a human wall around them so others cannot here what they have to offer.
Caller claimed to be a student in Pino's class. Said he was shown a 30 minute video glorifying terrorism and specifically the USS Cole bombing. Also said their text books included biographies of Che Guevara.
Many callers arguing that Pino has the freedom of speech right to call for Jihad against America.
Caller claimed to be a grad student and teacher at the University who is seriously considering not returning next semester if Kent sticks to defending the Pino.
Frantz stated that in an article in the Kent Stater newspaper, Pino referred to his students as "My beloved Taliban".
Frantz is calling for alumnus to quit contributing to the school and for parents to consider pulling their kids out.
Kent State denies ties to jihadi site http://www.ohio.com/mld/ohio/living/education/16808652.htm?template=contentModules/printstory.jsp - is an article linked on Frantz's home page (http://bobfrantz.wtam.com/main.html).
This topic seems like it will have some staying power locally.

Many callers arguing that Pino has the freedom of speech right to call for Jihad against America. Sure he has that right. But he also has to face the consequences. One, he's supposed to be teaching not providing political indoctrination. Two, his speech could also be considered treasonous and inciting criminal behavior (murder?). The libs always conflate freedom of speech with freedom from criticism and freedom from consequence (see: the Dixie Chicks...).

I agree entirely. I could barely listen to the free-speech argument. Free speech doesn't include treason. There also HAS to be a limit on the speech of instructors. What if a teacher told my kids that their parents were "evil Catholics". Not treason....but free speech?

We shouldn't be .... we actually SUBSIDIZE them through some tax loophole.
