Giuliani Will Compete in Iowa

Rudy Giuliani "has hired his first caucus campaign staffer and is planning a trip to Iowa in the coming weeks," the Des Moines Register reports.

"The steps are evidence that Giuliani is moving forward with a plan to compete in Iowa, although other candidates have been visiting and organizing supporters far longer in the state that kicks off the 2008 nominating cycle."

Don't most declared Presidential candidates take steps to compete in Iowa?

We're going a tad overboard on the Rudy's every movement stuff, here.

most definely

…most of Clintons Policies are very similar to most of mine... Rudy Giuliani 1996

On AbortionI’ve said that I’ll uphold a woman’s right to choice, that I will fund abortions so that a poor woman is not deprived of a right others can exercise… Rudy Giuliani 1989.

On Gun Control This is an industry that is profiting from the suffering of innocent people. What’s worse, its profits rest on a number of illegal and immoral practices. This lawsuit is meant to end the free pass that the gun industry has so long enjoyed... Rudy Giuliani 2000 after filing suit against gun makers and distributors.

On Gun Control We need a federal law that bans all assault weapons, and if in fact you do need a handgun you should be subjected to at least the same restrictions-and really stronger ones-that exist for driving an automobile... Rudy Giuliani 1997

Considering that Iowa's dem gubner has already bailed out of the race, Rudy ought to do well there if that is any indication.

I believe there was an editing error...
Rudy Giuliani "has hired his first caucus campaign staffer and is planning a trip to Iowa in the coming weeks," the Des Moines Register reports. According to insiders, the staffer's first priority is to send Rudy a map showing Iowa is in the USA along with directions from MapQuest.

The map and MapQuest info became a top priority as there was some confusion in the Rudy camp. Apparently Rudy thought Iowa was 20 miles West of the Hudson and he could get there in his limo.

When informed where Iowa actually was Rudy asked, "Are there any dangerous animals there, and do the locals carry Assault Weapons?" Rudy became somewhat relieved when he was told that the only 'dangerous animals' are Cows, but yes the local citizens do own firearms.

With that, Rudy ordered that his armed security staff be increased to 500 when he was also informed that no, he didn't have the power to disarm all Iowans.

There fixed it :-)

That didn't take long.

24/7 a Rudy thread goes up and they immediately Rush over with the pictures and the usual spam. These people post replies almost before the thread goes up -- laying in wait to spring as soon as it hits! I find it amusing that they spend their day finding Rudy threads. They are going to have a busy today! :)

Get over it. If you openly campaign for a pro-abortionist, anti-second amendment liberal on a conservative forum, you will get attacked along with the candidate. Maybe a liberal forum would be more receptive to the liberal Giuliani campaign trash.
