Al Gore Will Not Only Run, but He Can and Will Win in '08 (LOL)

Make no mistake: Former Vice President Al Gore will be our next president.

I am as confident about that assertion as I am that George W. Bush will go down in history as America's worst president ever. Gore is the right man at the right time, for many reasons. And it's clear that the momentum and buzz is shifting his way big time.

At Sunday's Oscar ceremony, Gore took home the coveted prize for best feature documentary for "An Inconvenient Truth," his scorching red-flag raiser on global warming.

On stage he was graceful, poised and presidential. And it didn't hurt his hipness quotient any to be getting a little Leo DiCaprio love either. That's right, Al Gore is suddenly cool.

It gets even better. In October, Gore will also likely be the recipient of the Nobel Peace Prize for being the planet's biggest advocate in the fight against climate change. His prestigious nomination in this exclusive club puts him in the company of such independent thinkers, statesmen and activists as Dr. Martin Luther King, President Jimmy Carter, Elie Wiesel and Mother Theresa.

Now let's talk chops. Gore's an enlisted Vietnam vet who served four terms in the U.S. House of Representatives, two terms in the Senate, and eight years as vice president in one of the most successful administrations ever. Let's not forget that he won the popular vote in 2000, and as many say, the Electoral College as well.

So wait, he's hip, he's brilliant, he's highly experienced. Is America ready for a real leader after two terms of a guy who makes Jim Carrey's "Dumb and Dumber" character seem downright cerebral? You bet your asinine Bush-isms it is.

I even have the perfect campaign slogan for Gore: "Imagine how it would've been."

Just imagine what the country would be like today had he become president in 2000 and not Bush. Imagine an America without this bloody debacle in Iraq. Imagine an America that commands the respect of its allies and is feared by its enemies. Imagine an America that puts the environment before big corporate interests. Imagine having a president who strives to bridge the gap between rich and poor, where the middle class, not the wealthy, gets the tax breaks, and where the minimum wage is not a shameful $5.15. Pretty powerful stuff on the campaign trail, huh?

Oops! I got a stale paste in my previous post. :-(

The only one I can stand to listen to is Gingrich, who gives a straight answer to any question, and not political double-speak.

Unfortunately, that probably means he won't be running.

ROFLOL

This is the funniest piece I've read today.

"In October, Gore will also likely be the recipient of the Nobel Peace Prize for being the planet's biggest advocate in the fight against climate change."

He's the BIGGEST all right.

Im with you there. I have always looked at Clinton having Gore as his veep was just as an insurance policy to protect him from assassination.

Prospective Assassin #1: We are putting together a plan to assassinate President Clinton.

Prospective Assassin #2: But if we do that then Gore will become President.

Prospective Assassin #1: Wow. I didnt think of that....nevermind then.

I'm so looking forward to the Democratic Convention...

I wait to see a fat, sweaty, screeching Al Gore on the podium....

Off in the distance an Osam-Obama there's a weak shadow form not-too-black-for-you shuffle...

Oh, and here comes John Kerry with a swift boat sticking out of his ass...

...AND...THEM...COMES...THE...SCHREW...

That is a sentiment many have already forgotten. Mr. Gore will take America to an unheard-of level of government-mandated involvement, and could now do so on a populist platform to hid the more radical aspects of his belief system. He is the patron saint of the global warming religion; and when it comes to religious intolerance, the left has no morality whatsoever. A very dangerous man...

Not at all farfetched.

Gore is safe, liberal, and appeals to voters who thought he should have won in 2000 by winning the popular vote. His new Oscar and upcoming Nobel help him to campaign without ever even announcing.

Dislike of the Xlintons is breaking out now that the Xlinton war room is operating and reminding the Dims why even they don't like Hitlery and Bill. And the libs are telling themselves that, while they would love to vote for Obama, obviously all those racists out there never would so he isn't the answer to Hitlery.

And there stands Owl Gore, fresh Oscar and Nobel in hand. Just waiting.

http://biglizards.net/blog/archives/2007/02/big_liz_predict.html

Here's a great blog posting by Big Lizard (Dafydd ab Hugh) about this very subject...he concludes:

"Look for Gore to wait a while. He'll wait until Sen. Hillary Clinton (D-At Large, 100%) and Sen. Barack "Abraham" Obama (D-IL, 100%) batter each other into unconsciousness, and for John Edwards to hire Keith Olberman as his campaign spokesman. Then, just as the Democrats are weeping and wailing and gnashing their teeth, Al Gore will come riding in on his great white house to save the day.

The nomination will be assured before the first in the nation Iowa caucuses. And Gore, while he may rant, will make a point of not screaming."

Read it all... great stuff (and great humor)

"LOL what is this guy smoking? Must be pretty good...But if algore does get elected I'm, I'm leaving the country..

Canada should be a solid majority conservative country by then. They are beginning to see the reality of this global warming/ Kyoto B.S.
All it took was a week long gas shortage forcing Toronto's lunatic liberals to actually walk to work, those that haven't been laid off yet from the collapsing auto industry that is.

A summer of brown outs and fuel shortages is what some left coasters and other blue states need. If they actually got a taste of what Al Gore is advocating inconveniencing their life style's would wake a few up here too.

We dismiss Gore and his media backers at our peril.

Quite true. We may laugh, but never underestimate the power of the MSM and the stupidity of most voters. I have no doubt that Gore is planning to run. He truly believes he alone can save the Earth. This insane man will be very difficult to defeat. Gore would be easier to defeat that Hillary. I fear for our Republic if Gore wins.

It's not necessary to imagine. I lived through the Carter years.
