MANCHESTER, N.H. -- Some experts said a Republican presidential candidate might be violating campaign finance laws with the TV ads he's running in New Hampshire.
U.S. Rep. Duncan Hunter of California is running ads that feature him walking near the U.S.-Mexico border. Hunter's Peace Through Strength political action committee has paid more than $17,000 for the ads, which call for the border fence to be extended.
The ad asks viewers to visit the political action committee's Web site. The PAC's Web site then asks visitors to visit Hunter's campaign site. Lawyers said the situation could be interpreted as an endorsement and a violation of campaign finance laws. Click here to find out more!
The PAC's spokesman said the ad is an issue ad and is not intended to be an ad for Hunter's presidential bid.

is there a controlling legal authority for these campaign finance laws now?
To: Leatherneck_MT
...how he's breaking the law!! The article(s) and 'experts' do not explicitly say.

Yes, the 'experts'.
And only an expert can decide if you are an expert.

Is there an election in the next 90 days? No? Then he's not.

Sometimes a man does what a man's got to do!
Guess that would explain my support of the only conservative in the pack.
Go Duncan Hunter!

I'll need a second expert opinion and an entire case study before I believe that.
Grant funding please!

Exactly!
Bump!
That is the great part. MSM jumps on the smell of a scandal. It is a favor in disguise!

Sounds good to me! Then I can be an expert too! Now, since I am an expert, my very expert advice to all expert real conservatives is to expertly vote for the expert on homeland security, defense, and all the other conservative issues. That expert is Duncan Hunter!:)

Your an expert too? That's great, Calpernia was looking for a second expert opinion and grant funding back on post 51.
