Chicago Tribune, L.A. Times, and Washington Post material must be excerpted in all circumstances. Please make a note of it.

I dont believe al-Qaeda is responsible for this. Where was Harry Whittington and what does he know about this?

"He feels that this will be a way for the media to start waging another spin campaign that things in Afghanistan are really much worse than they appear."
Sure they will. Most of them are Democrats. I would expect nothing less.
I don't expect any news articles on how the political left is cheering an assassination attempt.

I think they clearly try to find ways to question the authority of the central government" there. "Striking at the Bagram (base) with a suicide bomber, I suppose, is one way to do that... It shouldn't affect our behavior."
I really like Cheney, but I wish he would stop talking like a diplomatic lawyer. It would have been nice if he would have said something like 'This was a failed attack by an increasingly discredited enemy desperate for anything they can call a success. It will in no way whatsoever change our mission or our purpose here."

Thanks for the tip. Some people are risking their lives to to keep Afghanistan free of Islamofascism, while jerks in the U.S. are running their mouths.

I have two pairs of Florshiem cordovans. Old horses contributed to these babies which are impossible to wear out.

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
* Cordovan shoe leather is regarded as one of the most luxurious and durable leathers available. The cost of this leather is high due to its limited supply. Made from the rump of a horse, only one pair of shoes can be made from a single horse. With proper care, a well made pair of cordovan shoes can last a lifetime, with improving patina and luster throughout its life. Also referred to as shell cordovan in reference to the "shells" (circular pieces) of leather removed from each side of the rump of the horse. Also, while most leathers take a single month to cure, Cordovan takes a full six months, and can only be worked by hand.
The term "Cordovan" has come to describe a color when talking about cloths and leather in particular, so to communicate that an article is in fact made out of true Cordovan Leather, a seller will usually advertise as "Genuine Cordovan" or "Genuine Shell Cordovan"

My Florshiems were made in Missouri out of old horse rumps.
