Rudy To Attend CPAC

I reported a piece last month about how Rudy and McCain were skipping some conservative conferences.  One of the events I mentioned that they had not yet RSVP'd to is the Grandaddy Of Them All -- the Conservative Political Action Conference or CPAC.

Turns out Rudy will attend CPAC.  He'll speak to the confab Friday.

So what is your point???

Thank you so much for eliciting that response from Narses. I have a tagline!

I am convinced these people have NO idea how they come off.

If Ted Kennedy and Arlen Specter hadn't fought Reagan on Robert Bork, a good chance Roe v Wade would be in the dustbin of history today. Just a thought

Ironic, isn't it. Bork and Rudy both are wrong on the second amendment.

Naturally, it's not as wise as YOUR tagline (a-hem), but it is profoundly illustrative.

Aren't we all public sinners? Aren't we born with original sin?

I'm perfectly comfortable letting the posts stand. Anyone with half a brain can see that it's just killing you hearing Rudy's accomplishment called some of the greatest achievements of the 20th century.

That was a darned good question.

I think I've seen everything now. Oh, an my church, the Anglican Church, has now been condemned and made fun of. All because I support Rudy. Freepers have gone into full hysteria mode.

LoL, ain't that the truth. And about 95% of what the rest of society considers Right Wingers have been excommunicated from the True Faith.

This was your request for me to give my soure. It was your first request. You used the word "lame".

I used the word "lame" in quotes, because the choice of words was yours. My post 120 was in response to your post #116.

He should address that record. You shouldn't give such a lame response.

You're busted again, idiot.

As documented, the crappy tone is yours.

All you've succeeded in documenting is that you can't follow your own comments on a thread.

Oh, I followed the comments just fine. I wasn't talking about defense spending. There was no indication that I was. Yet you imply that I was and you imply that I may want to cut defense spending like a liberal.

It's like if I said to you, "if you beat your wife, we know where you stand".

Do you think you deserve such a remark from me?

Anyway, I tell you what I'll do. I'll redo my answer.

I would hardly call supporting Earmarks, "no Child Left Behind", "The Highway Bill" and the massive "Prescription Drug Benefit Bill", conservative spending. If you do, we know where you stand.

LOL, nope. Not even close. Your understanding of Catholic thought on sin makes your claim to be Catholic odd, to say the least.

Sorry to be joining this thread late. I did not know Rudy was supposedly Catholic. If so, he's as bad a Catholic as Ted Kennedy, Tom Harkin, John Kerry, and Nancy Pelosi. The Catholic church needs to do some serious discipline in order to restore credibility. Seems they're all talk.

Great, you and I totally agree that it is indefensible to denigrate CPAC for being insufficiently conservative.

Why is it indefensible?

"Insufficiently conservative" was a fair description of CPAC 2004, in my opinion, and Rudy wasn't even a consideration.
