Rudy To Attend CPAC

I reported a piece last month about how Rudy and McCain were skipping some conservative conferences.  One of the events I mentioned that they had not yet RSVP'd to is the Grandaddy Of Them All -- the Conservative Political Action Conference or CPAC.

Turns out Rudy will attend CPAC.  He'll speak to the confab Friday.

Alito and Roberts, justices in that mold, are the kinds of judges republicans can get confirmed to the SCOTUS. and they are fine.

they cannot get openly anti-Roe justices confirmed, that's just the political reality of it.

You really claim to be Catholic? If he is still married to wife number two in the eyes of God, then his relationship with wife number three is an ongoing, public mortal sin.+

>>>>>You are trying to distort his record by painting him as a 100% Liberal.

Wrong. I've done my own research on Rudy. Spiff has posted an exceellent chart showing that Rudy is closer to Hillary and the Democratic platform, then he is to the Republican platform. That means Rudy is on the same page with liberals like Hillary Clinton, Algore, John Kerry and Ted Kennedy ..... etc etc etc etc .....

The BEST example I can give you is this. Rudy is like Joe Lieberman. Joe's ACU rating is 17. I'll be generous and give Rudy a conservative rating of 20. How's that? Bush43 only gets a 65 from me, so Rudy is doing good for a full fledged liberal.

>>>>The New Yorkers you talked to must have been Liberals since they saw him as an arrogant jerk and power hungry, authoritarian jackass.

I heard that from both liberals and conservatives, Democrats and Republicans.

Bottomline. To call Rudy a conservative is a denigrating rhetoric all by itself.

The lies just keep on coming.

I said you didn't correct yourself until you were questioned and you didn't. By the way, if you mis-typed your original statement why didn't you correct it when you corrected your spelling error? Surely if you noticed a typo you would have noticed an omitted a word, right?

This is a perfect example of your posting tactics. You never posted that Giuliani's achievements "were among the greatest fiscal and urban achievements of the 20th century". You posted that "it has been called the greatest achievement of the 20th century". When called on it you amended it to "the greatest urban/fiscal achievement of the 20th century".

Not among the achievements, "the achievement". That is what you do, you lie and when called on it you try to back track and retroactively amend your comments. You did it with the "Ronald Reagan Medal of Freedom" post, the "Reagan library" post and you're trying to do it again here.

The only one of us caught in a lie is you and the fictitious "anyone else" you keep referring to knows it as well.

If Ted Kennedy and Arlen Specter hadn't fought Reagan on Robert Bork, a good chance Roe v Wade would be in the dustbin of history today. Just a thought.

You overstep all bounds when you question someone elses faith. Unlike you, I don't know how God judges Rudy Giuliani or anyone else for that matter. I guess we have you here to tell us.

LOL, no. The Catholic Church has very, very clear rules. To remarry while still in a valid marriage is called ADULTERY. It is a MORTAL SIN. Not my opinion, the clear teaching of the infallible magesterium of the Universal Church.

"I guess I am so used to seeing the same thing over and over and over again, I just pass them right by without a read. I mean it's not like they say anything new."

If you never check the links how would you know if it was new info or not?

The last article link I posted was one I never saw until today.

So many post the same things over again that I no longer read their posts, nor check the links. Maybe you could put a notation next time stating this is new never before posted info?... ;)

"That Rudy has chosen to be a public sinner."

Who are you to label someone a public sinner?

What a succinct expression of the anti-Giuliani mindset.

He claims the Catholic Faith. His actions label him.

And your actions label you as one of those who casts the first stone.
