DUNCAN / NEWT for 2008? (Vanity)
Posted on 02/24/2007 10:25:56 AM PST by ElPatriota
I just thought I would throw it out there for your consideration.
Duncan's choice is NOT negotiable. Newt's IS :)
Why Newt?... Because yes, we can forgive those who deserve a second chance, and besides, he will pay the price by running in the second slot, as the Vice-President (Not that there is anything wrong with that!). Then, having gained invaluable experience, fully rehabilitated for his indiscretions, THEN, he will be ready to be president. He is still a young man so he's got the time.

Hunter/Santorum. While I like him, I think Newt would drag down any republican ticket.

Someone needs to be the VP and I can't see either man as anything other than alpha wolf.

Right now, Rudy and McCain are the Media darlings. But in the end, I think that one of these guys or Romney will be the nominee.

You should read breach of trust by tom coburn. It doesn't portray newt in a very favorable light. Tom Coburn is no rino.
I dont expect anyone to trust a man who was boinking his own intern while he was running impeachment on clinton for doing the same thing.
There is a thing called values voters, they are not going to turn out for someone like newt.

But I have to admit HE IS SMART!... And again, we conservatives, with higher standards than the Rats, will make him pay the price...

I helped you out by adding some appropriate key words.
Maybe it will keep the fantasy seekers (i.e. Hunter supporters) busy for a while.

He has multiple times in the past.
When he was impeaching clinton he was boinking his own intern. Back with his first wife, he was having an affair with a staffer and insisted that he wasn't cheating becuase "oral sex" wasn't really sex so he couldn't be accused of having an affair.
This is also the man who delivered divorce papers to his wife while she was having cancer treatment in the hospital.

Have we suggested every possible combination of potential candidates? There is still time to come up with a few more before the primaries a year or more from now.
