ST. LOUIS — A St. Charles man accused of buying automatic weapons and a Claymore mine and bargaining for grenades was indicted this week on four federal machine gun charges.

Mousa M. Abuelawi, 22, of Franjoe Court, was originally arrested Dec. 29 and charged with three counts of illegal possession or distribution of a machine gun and conspiracy to violate machine gun statutes.

The men met several times in the 5700 block of West Florissant Avenue, where Abuelawi worked. One of Abuelawi's co-workers, Thaed Abde Sumad, met with the men once, according to the indictment, and "stated he wants to buy as many explosives as possible because, 'we're going to war.'"

This story leaves LOTS of unanswered questions. The first, and probably most important, being, why is this guy here?

He has no family to be "endangered" in Palestine, he has no job "skills" or he wouldn't be an unemployed gas station attendant, so WHY IS HE HERE?

He is here to prove to the rest of the world, and to the p.c. worshippers in this country, that we are diverse, tolerant, and generally nice to those who want to kill us. Our government; with friends like this, who needs enemies?

I sat on a jury here in STL that sent a Palli to prison for life for involvement in an "honor killing". I've kept my shotgun and .45 loaded and close at hand ever since.
Shhhhhhhhhhhh don't tell the STL PD. They don't much care for citizens defending themselves around here (not the officers, the leadership).

After 9/11 every last Muzzie (men, women, children) should have been forceably deported (NO going through the courts) and their property confiscated and sold - the money going to the Treasury.

Doesn't he have an inalienable and constitutional second amendment right to keep and bear whatever arms he wants?

I mean, you start making exceptions to the second amendment and the next thing you know the gubmint jack-booted thugs will be coming for yours.

.......not if his declared intention is to blow up Americans en masse. I am a self declared "gun nut", but I have a lot of trouble with foreign nationals owning heavy fully automatic weapons, particularly when one of them verbalizes the desire to "kill as many Americans as possible". I imagine that's what got Homeland Security's skin crawling.

(I really can't imagine any GOOD reason why anyone would need a box of hand grenades, antipersonnel mines, or IEDs??? Anyone else?)
