Hmm. One of those might be useful as a hunting trailer. Guys looking for deer wouldn't need all the amenities. The fridge would have to work though. Gotta have a place for the cold beer!

Where do you draw the line?
On one hand, my tax dollars are being wasted on this crapola.
On the other, I'll bet there are some good buys there....

The trailers were auctioned in batches of 300 Batches of 300?? This only lowers the prices for the wholesalers. Why not let the bidding start on singles to everyone can participate, effectively raising the price. Another govt waste.

"But 16 months later, about 12,000 travel trailers and 8,300 mobile homes still sit at the airport in this town of 10,467 residents. Many of them were never used by the victims of Hurricane Katrina or other emergency." Just jorge and homeland security laying it to the tax payers, and they didn't even use Vaseline.

Before anyone rushes to buy one of these. Please read this.

After living in one of these little boxes for 14 months, I can assure you the article is true. It is only 14 months late, though. Apparently the local media did not want to upset anyone. (Like we didn't all know it already.)

Tornadic activity may be reaching the area tomorrow, according to Shreveport NWS.

Thanks for the info. We have a older 34 ft pace arrow motorhome which we leave at a campground all summer. We stay there weekends and sometimes use it to travel in. I have never woken up feeling ill or noticed anything different about the air. But I do have a child with asthma. I will be sending my husband out to check what kind of wood was used in it and get one of those kits to check the air . ~P~

One thing good is that another head of her can now be put on that black pantsuit. That one won't enlarge well.

The number of FEMA trailers in this southwestern Arkansas town is nearly double the number of people who live in Hope, essentially turning the birthplace of former President Bill Clinton into one big trailer lot. Oh the irony!
