Throw in Lamar Alexander and you've made my point. We're in agreement with the facts, not the interpretation.

Go Duncan!

(and "up yours" to the Spaulding Group for showing their true colors, and trying to shove Rudy down our throats)

No, I haven't; but I'm delighted that you have now come to your senses and all but said that this was NOT "dodging the draft"!

...oh, taking a court clerkship to avoid military service is shameful. Deferments to complete a polysci degree are shameful. It was a form of draft dodging and it should never have been allowed.

It was clear but nippy in SoCal today. What I liked was looking up and seeing the half moon directly overhead in the daytime. Now, the clear night sky is gorgeous too.

Speaking for myself, presently a supporter of Giuliani - the more you demand people like me shut up, the more determined I become to fling defiance right back in your face.

You're welcome to support whomever you please, but when they come to take your guns, I will be throwing in your face that you brought the loss of that freedom on yourself. When the Democrats extend their lead in Congress because frustrated conservatives didn't bother to vote, I'll fling in your face that a leader would have inspired people to come to vote for him and the members of his party. Likewise, when we end up with Hillary as president because Giuliani couldn't pull enough "swing" voters to overcome the loss of votes from people whose consciences wouldn't let them vote for him, I'll throw back in your face that we could have looked harder for a candidate who could unite the party rather than one who divided the party.

Bill

I'm still undecided on how I will vote when primary season reaches Louisiana, but when you put the question as you did in this poll, the answer is easy. I voted for Congressman Hunter.

"Newt's were for going to college and then for being a prof."

Both of which were considered to be "in the nation's best interest."

"Diversity of opinion is what keeps us sharp and makes this site interesting."

Had you been paying attention you might have been clued into that by the spelling of "Greene Akers."

Since I'm not an anal, smug, bitter person with a superiority complex, I just thought you made a mistake and let it go.

As to my continued misspelling of Zaza, that's to drive the anal-ists right up the wall.
