Maureen Dowd has kicked the bucket?
To: rellimpank
Hmm. More stuff that hasn't been reported by the MSM.

Feb proves to those pro-global warmers to have pie stuck on their faces. If they whine and cry loud enough, March might help them. Heaven forbid!

Ooops! So would that be MoDo and her little cat too?
To: eyedigress
No, MoDo was the one speaking that line. DoDo dropped a house on her other sister.

Why don't the little greenies go bang on China, India, and Russia's doors?
Answer: It's not about the environment at all. It's about their hate for America.

Klaus Topfer (Germany) was the Executive Director of UNEP (the arm of the UN which established the IPCC) when he began working behind the scenes in developing the Kyoto Protocol. That is interesting when you consider that Mr. Topfer has a doctorate in economics. Our U.S. Senate voted Kyoto down in a 95-0 vote stating it would cause "serious harm to the economy of the United States." Why would a man with a doctorate in economics design an environmental policy that would cripple the United States? Did he not know what he was doing? Were all 95 U.S. Senators completely wrong? No! The 95 Senators were not wrong, and Mr. Topfer knew exactly what he was doing.
The political, anti-United States agenda of the Kyoto Protocol is embarrassingly transparent. America does not need our enemies dictating our economic policies. If we need to adjust some things to help the environment, then so be it. But let's entrust the task of developing that plan to men and women whose expertise is impeccable and whose devotion to the United States is unquestioned.
