I only wish God had brought us Amilla before the 2006 elections, so that the Kansas Attorney General's race could have been impacted by it.

"Are you a man or a woman?"

Woman. Why?

"Matthew 19:8 Jesus said, "Moses provided for divorce as a concession to your hard heartedness, but it is not part of God's original plan."

You said that God provided for divorce, not Moses.

"See my post 70, if you have a moment."

I saw that. Thank you for that comment.

I did want to respond to the reply since somehow the gender seemed to matter to the respondent. I agree, however, that gender does not matter. I just wanted to ensure that the person who asked the question knew that both genders will have advocates against them.

"I've seen pro-choice Freepers, but never outright pro-abortion.

Perhaps I'm mistaken."

Perhaps you are. To be pro-choice is to have a callous regard for the life of a tiny baby. One is either for protecting an innocent life or for destroying an innocent life. Pro-choicers are not about protecting life, therefore they are pro-abortion.

I have an acquaintance who also wrote a book on this subject and did self-publish. The author is Glen Allison and the name of the book is Miscue. It's still available on Amazon.

Have you ever attended the Southern Christian Writers' Conference in Tuscaloosa? It's held every June and is usually wonderful.

No I have not. When I lived in AL for two plus decades I wasn't writing. I shall check into it!

This past year Terri Blackstock and Vanessa Davis Griggs were two of the speakers - ones that I can recall at the moment.

According to the definition, pro-abortion fits those who use the term pro-choice: pro-a·bor·tion (prō'ə-bôr'shən) adj. Favoring or supporting legalized abortion. http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/pro-abortion I've never contended the viability argument meant that much to those in favor of abortion. Of course, I've been reading postings of the hard core in another forum. Some support restrictions after so many weeks, but the main argument is that the child is within the woman's body, and therefore she can kill the child if she decides she doesn't want to share her body. So, why would gestation matter to them then? The bottom line is once conception begins there is a life. The life will continue to grow and develop until natural death. I consider a person no less at conception than I do at birth in the same a way I consider a toddler no less than a teenager.

Wrong again
Pro-Choice = I am in favor of the choice to allow children to be killed by abortion.
Stop with the euphemism of "Pro-Choice" that sanitizes the above reality. If you don't like the word children put in the phrase "human beings"

Instead of them commenting, offer them congratulations on their "successful" abortion. See if that garners a reaction.

Of course they are a person at conception. What else could they be? I agree, no matter when the pregnancy is terminated, the result is one dead baby. I think most people who try to nuance the abortion issue have never really sat down and thought it totally through. They are in a kind of denial that won't allow themselves to see the horror that is the act of abortion.

-----"Bwahaha, you're a liar, that's all. Just like most of the pro-abortion people I've talked to, twisting, dissembling, lying, and mischaracterizing when cornered. Someone else has already told you that you are not honest enough to discuss with. I think she's wiser than me, so I'll bid you adieu also."-------
