According to the definition, pro-abortion fits those who use the term pro-choice: pro-a·bor·tion (prō'ə-bôr'shən) adj. Favoring or supporting legalized abortion. http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/pro-abortion I've never contended the viability argument meant that much to those in favor of abortion. Of course, I've been reading postings of the hard core in another forum. Some support restrictions after so many weeks, but the main argument is that the child is within the woman's body, and therefore she can kill the child if she decides she doesn't want to share her body. So, why would gestation matter to them then? The bottom line is once conception begins there is a life. The life will continue to grow and develop until natural death. I consider a person no less at conception than I do at birth in the same a way I consider a toddler no less than a teenager.

Of course they are a person at conception. What else could they be? I agree, no matter when the pregnancy is terminated, the result is one dead baby. I think most people who try to nuance the abortion issue have never really sat down and thought it totally through. They are in a kind of denial that won't allow themselves to see the horror that is the act of abortion.
