Unfavorable rating up sharply for Clinton

ALBANY (AP) - Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton's unfavorable rating among state voters has climbed by a third since her landslide re-election victory in November, a statewide poll reported Wednesday.

While the Democrat's favorable rating among state voters remained at 56 percent in the latest poll from Siena College's Research Institute, her unfavorable rating was at 40 percent, the highest in the last two years of Siena's polling.

Immediately after her re-election victory over former Yonkers Mayor John Spencer, her unfavorable rating was 29 percent.

Siena poll spokesman Steven Greenberg said the rise in Clinton's unfavorable rating likely stemmed from her Jan. 20 announcement that she would seek the Democratic nomination for president.

"There is clearly more attention being paid to her, and the opposition is starting to get out their message more about her," Greenberg said.

Siena's telephone poll of 620 registered voters was conducted last Thursday through Monday and has a sampling margin of error of plus or minus 4 percentage points.

This is news? We have known "the message about her" for nearly twenty years. Did something change in that time??

What this also could be telling us is that now since a lot of voters have 'spanked' Bush, their anger/angst is now appeased, and all of those RATS who won by just a whisker, especially in GOP stronghold could be in deep doo-doo come 08. One hit, perfect storm wonders.

The other day I heard her and hubby being dissed even on Air America for their slick lies, etc. Hard to forget that he pardoned Marc Rich.

Hitlery will continue to get well deserved flack. I'd love to see her taken out in a straight jacket.

She did little or nothing for six years as a junior senator. If not for her marriage to former president clinton, nobody would have heard of this woman. Exactly what has she DONE in her life, other than work for a corrupt law firm and live high off the public hog?

Not what I would call a great example for women to admire. NY voters are ignorant fools. Not that there's any news in that, when you consider most of the people they have elected to office over the past century.

Are most NY voters so dumb that this was actually a surprise to them?

Every time I read hitlery's name in conjunction with either an election or a poll, I unwaveringly dismiss both as fodder for the masses via the hitlery machine, only to let them believe that a mere election might have any effect on hitlery's election results.

How could we have sunk so low as to enable this power hungry maniac?

If anyone thinks NY elected her, they're in denial of her true and complete corruption.

I would love to see Hillary! leave the race early, and take all of her money with her. The rest of the Democrat(ic)s won't have two dimes to rub together, and she'll be sitting on a pile of money bigger than Mt. Kilmanjaro.

It would be an attractive prospect. She can convert that money to pay for her Senate campaigns. She could run for re-election for the rest of her life, and never have to make a fundraising call again.

Hitlery MUST be defeated. Her winning the White House is NOT an option.

In precisely the same manner that we let Pelosi grab power.

Pelosi is a bystander, the unescorted dame at the dance who got lucky. She doesn't have the will to do what hitlery will do in the way of winning elections. With Pelosi's elections I beleive they actually tallied the votes before giving her the win.

Not so with the hitlery.
