hy did hillary clinton take the bait? The answer is actually quite simple: David Geffen's comments to Maureen Dowd topple the clinton machine's extravagant, fanciful and elaborate construction and expose the candidate for what she is: Defective. Fatally defective.

How is hillary clinton fatally defective? Let me count the ways:

A WARNING FOR DAVID GEFFEN: Limit your attack to the husband's 'personal life' as opposed to the rape, the terrorism failure and the abuses of power (see above), and hillary clinton will simply play her usual default position... the victim... and get the nomination. 2. The clinton machine response to Geffen is rich: The greatest purveyors of slash-and-burn politics (NB: Filegate and the Barrett report) are proscribing slash-and-burn politics. Give us a break.
   
   Note also the insulting transparency of their tactics: How they are trying to attribute Geffen's personal observations to Obama, how they lie that Geffen has a formal position in the Obama campaign, how they use Howard Wolfson and press releases to bash Obama while hillary poses as some distinct entity above it all, and finally, how hillary clinton is playing the race card by exploiting black cutouts.

Dear Concerned Americans,

hillary clinton's revisionist tome notwithstanding, 'living history' begets a certain symmetry. It is in that light that I make this not-so-modest proposal on this day, exactly 64 years after the attack on Pearl Harbor.

The context of our concern today--regardless of political affiliation--is Iraq and The War on Terror, but the larger fear is that our democracy may not survive.

We have the requisite machines, power and know-how to defeat the enemy in Iraq and elsewhere, but do we have the will?

In particular, do we have the will to identify and defeat the enemy in our midst?

Answerable to no one, heir apparent in her own mind, self-serving in the extreme, hillary clinton incarnates this insidious new threat to our survival.

What we decide to do about missus clinton will tell us much about what awaits us in these perilous new times.

Hillary seems to think she can run a campaign from an ivory tower, a perfectly scripted campaign with no real questions and no accountability. She appears determined to do so; however, there are people just as determined as Her Hillariness that she will be asked hard questions - and when she least expects them.

Former Clinton donors have been "warned" by Hillary's right hand men that they will pay if they back anyone else, that people are either with her or against her. - In other words, the enemy is not the terrorists, it is US who cross the Queen and King.

The boil is ripe; stand back. When it blows, hopefully sooner rather than later, the corruption will spew.

It started when Obama came onto the scene and Hillary jumped out early with her announcement...she's in full panic mode and we have to thank Geffen for really providing the venue for displaying it. Now if we can only get a few more "Geffens" to come forward...How about Sandy Burglar making a special appearance on FOX and dishing the Clintons? Or, the girls on the View get catty towards HIllary (oops, THAT's not gonna happen?) A few former Secret Service people start their own "SWIFTBOATERS AGAINST PROFANITY" movement on Hillary Clinton. That woman is foul and it needs to be HOLLARED loudly for all to hear!

So how is Herself going to call Osama-Obama the "N"-word without having this flash right back into her own face? When Herself comes to her own "Howard Dean" moment, will she even realize it has happened? Or will Herself somehow hit the warp drive on her personal broom and go stratospheric, only to burn up on re-entry?

Your description is apt. Overboard and over the top reaction by Queen Hillary's camp to the Geffen remarks. DEMANDING that Hussein Obama play fair, that he must do this and must do that. Geffen knew exactly where to stick the shiv. Homed in on her nauseating "let's have a conversation" act. This is what he meant by over scripted and stale. David Geffen knows show business so he knows what a bad actor looks like. He also knows what con artists are like so he knows the Clintons well on this score too.
