- WHY THE GEFFEN IMBROGLIO SIGNALS CLINTON'S END
'HILLARY'S STRATEGY--NOBODY GETS TO CRITICIZE HER' -- CHRIS MATTHEWS
with a WARNING FOR DAVID GEFFEN
-
by Mia T, 2.22.07
-
hy did hillary clinton take the bait? The answer is actually quite simple: David Geffen's comments to Maureen Dowd topple the clinton machine's extravagant, fanciful and elaborate construction and expose the candidate for what she is: Defective. Fatally defective.
How is hillary clinton fatally defective? Let me count the ways:
- the clintons' documented abuse of power 4 (redacted via clinton abuse of power!)
- the clintons' terrorism failure 3.
- the clintons' 1 rape of Juanita Broaddrick 2
P.S.:
- A WARNING FOR DAVID GEFFEN: Limit your attack to the husband's 'personal life' as opposed to the rape, the terrorism failure and the abuses of power (see above), and hillary clinton will simply play her usual default position... the victim... and get the nomination. (HEAR SUSAN ESTRICH: hillary plays 'the victim' for votes)
- The clinton machine response to Geffen is rich: The greatest purveyors of slash-and-burn politics (NB: Filegate and the Barrett report) are proscribing slash-and-burn politics. Give us a break.
Note also the insulting transparency of their tactics: How they are trying to attribute Geffen's personal observations to Obama, how they lie that Geffen has a formal position in the Obama campaign, how they use Howard Wolfson and press releases to bash Obama while hillary poses as some distinct entity above it all, and finally, how hillary clinton is playing the race card by exploiting black cutouts.

AN OPEN LETTER TO TIM ROBBINS, DAVID GEFFEN, CHRIS MATTHEWS, MAUREEN DOWD + JEANINE PIRRO
RE: a not-so-modest proposal concerning hillary clinton
Dear Concerned Americans,
hillary clinton's revisionist tome notwithstanding, 'living history' begets a certain symmetry. It is in that light that I make this not-so-modest proposal on this day, exactly 64 years after the attack on Pearl Harbor.
The context of our concern today--regardless of political affiliation--is Iraq and The War on Terror, but the larger fear is that our democracy may not survive.
We have the requisite machines, power and know-how to defeat the enemy in Iraq and elsewhere, but do we have the will?
In particular, do we have the will to identify and defeat the enemy in our midst?
Answerable to no one, heir apparent in her own mind, self-serving in the extreme, hillary clinton incarnates this insidious new threat to our survival.
What we decide to do about missus clinton will tell us much about what awaits us in these perilous new times.

A delicious scenario, altho Gore seems content with his post-pol life.
An Oscar or Nobel increases the odds, one would think....
One has to wonder what the clintons are thinking tonight about Gore's Oscar nomination, given Geffen.
For that matter, one has to wonder what the clintons are thinking right now about Gore's Nobel nomination,
considering the lengths to which they've gone over the years to snare the prize for themselves,
(e.g., lobbied the Nobel committee, let bin Laden escape, trashed America when on foreign soil)....

And wouldn't it be just delicious if Algore was mentioned for UN Secretary General? Oh, those ashtrays would be flying! How I hope old Al will jump into the race and give old Hill a run for her money.

It was risible. Unintentional theater of the absurd: A chintzed-and-powdered villain, a soulless, angry, arrogant scold, oozing cloying, saccharine-coated evil, pulsating to the metronomic swing of stubby appendages--claws too short to grab its prey. (Gesticulation is a dud's only sign of life... and then only if she has a speech coach to prod her.) The performance was nothing if not humiliating: A direct measure of hillary clinton's hunger for power. Which reminds me... enough of that red Klingon power jacket already. The fatal problem with the clinton machine's extravagant, fanciful and elaborate construction is not the absurdity, however. It is the architectonics. A precarious 20th-century conceit, the hillary! construct totters on a crumbling foundation of clinton lies, abuses and betrayals. It should have been no surprise that David Geffen's comments to Maureen Dowd would so easily topple it. But to the average clinton lackey, it apparently was. READ MORE by Mia T, 3.01.07 HILLARY! Thanks so much for the ping, Mia. I didn't get to see the exchanges with Pat Caddell and Bob Knovak when they aired originally, so your placing them at FR is a great help ... no way to keep up with everything is there!
Pat Caddell is too honest to be a democrat any longer. Bob Knovak is obsolete, but he hasn't figured that out yet. Perhaps his brain is showing the effects of second-hand smoke ... all that time spent in smokey backrooms don'tchaknow.

From a show on Canadian TV there was a black comedian who said he misses Bill Clinton.
"Yep, that's right - I miss Bill Clinton! He was the closest thing we ever got to having a black man as President.
Number 1 - He played the sax.
Number 2 - He smoked weed.
Number 3 - He had his way with ugly white women.
Even now? Look at him ... his wife works, and he don't! And, he gets a check from the government every month.
Manufacturers announced today that they will be stocking America's shelves this week with "Clinton Soup," in honor of one of the nations' most distinguished men.. It consists primarily of a weenie in hot water.
Chrysler Corporation is adding a new car to its line to honor Bill Clinton.
The Dodge Drafter will be built in Canada.
When asked what he thought about foreign affairs, Clinton replied, "I don't know, I never had one."
Clinton will be recorded in history as the only President to do Hanky Panky between Bushes."
---ya gotta love it.... keep smiling, Everyone!

belated thx, MHGinTN. :)
Pat Caddell does seem out of place, doesn’t he? I wonder how he is treated by the Ds....
