Rudy Giuliani Has Picked Up The Endorsement of Rep. Charlie Dent (PA).

Rudy Giuliani has picked up the edorsement of Rep. Charlie Dent (PA). According to Giuliani's team, Dent plans "to enlist other" PA GOPers to follow suit.

Dent, explaining his support: "Giuliani successfully led New York City and became known as 'America’s Mayor' because of his dynamic approach to tackling the challenges facing America’s largest city... It takes a determined fiscal leader to make the kind of transformation he achieved as Mayor of New York – and his record speaks for itself." (Hotline reporting)

Yea....Sean had some callers saying Rudy would be wrong as president and Sean was saying how he has known Rudy for so long and kept talking about great the guy would be...

Lets see now, just how much urban support did the GOP get in the last two elections, I seem to remember a map. That's right neary every urban center was BLUE.

Perhaps if the right REPUBLICAN candidate mix could siphon off enough of that 'urban vote' it might turn close Blues states Red. Just a thought or at the least keep the Democrat's spending money where they would not want to and thus put other states into play as well. Politics after all is the art of the possible.

The few times I've checked out the Duncan Hunter threads, I behave like a perfect lady and never say anything negative. I figure it's their party and I treat it like a caucus thread.

For those who don't know what a "caucus thread" is, it's part of the guidelines established by the Religion Moderators. If the person who posts the thread establishes it as a "caucus thread", as in the Daily Mass Readings-Catholic Caucus thread, then it closes the thread to boorish comments from those bashing Catholic doctrine, and there's no debating of the issues, no boorish comments against Catholicism that you see from certain quarters.

The point I'm trying to make is, I treat the Duncan Hunter threads as private Caucus threads (even tho' they're not designated as such) and I don't go on them posting anything provocative or boorish, because I give them the right to have a playground of their own ideas,and I believe we should treat each others' ideas with respect.

This guy's in my district, outside of Philadelphia. If you knew him like I do, you wouldn't be even mildly disappointed, because you wouldn't have had any expectations.

He's a world-class squish. Especially on the so-called "only issue that matters": the war.

"regardless" of what? many of those financial services businesses were moving out of the City, another term of Dinkins, and many more would have. how was NYC going to benefit from the tax revenues "regardless" of who was Mayor, if the businesses left the City?
