Impervious to facts, I see. You're a perfect Rudy booster, then. It's like a mini-epidemic around here!

"Impervious to facts, I see"
So far, you haven't given out even a single fact. All you have is rabid anti-Rudy screeches, not backed by any polls, facts or nuthin'. You have no facts for me to be impervious to.

"You have not stated one fact that was relevant"
The article at the startof this thread are check full of facts. you on the other hand have simply continued to spew out garbage, and anti-rudy hate, backed by plenty of hot air, and no facts.

So far, you haven't given out even a single fact.I stated the fact that pro-life Catholic Dems were key swing voters in Ohio in 2004. I didn't even get into the fact that pro-life Dems were a key part of the Reagan coalition.
You just simply stuck your fingers in your ears and ranted like a juvenile being told to eat his broccoli.

The article at the startof this thread are check full of facts.I said RELEVANT facts. Polls 22 months out are irrelevant. Polls in December 2003 showed Howard Dean with a 40-12 edge over John Kerry in New Hampshire.

HAAATE! HAAATE! You've got the Clintonista tactic down pat of trying to dismiss legit criticism as HAAAATE!

This reminds me of the Democratic debate in 2004 where every candidate not named Howard Dean got asked. "How can you stay in the race and damage your party's chances?"
Surprisingly, Dennis Kookyinch had le mot juste in riposte. "I'm staying in to make you cover my inauguration in person."

They obviously were not the only "key' swing voters, or the vote wouldn't have been so close, even with a loser like Hanoi John Kerry running.
Plus of course Rudy is a strong Ctaholic, who has won most of the Catholic and Italian votes in any election he's ever run.
To: dirtboy
Santorum won twice largely because he was pro-life and the Dem wasn't. He lost when the Dems finally ran a pro-lifer.Santorium was in a lot of trouble long before Casey got the Democrat nod. It was common knowledge for a long time that Santorium was the most vulnerable incumbent in the election cycle. His popularity ratings were low.
By running a pro-life Democrat with a popular family name, the Democrats just eliminated any chance of a comeback by Santorium.

I wish Rudy were more conservative, but the fact remains that he is the candidate who give Hillary nightmares.I'd rather beat Hillary with Rudy than lose to her with Gingrich.
Exactly!

No thanks.
That would be like the "Anti-Matter/Matter 2008!" ticket.

Swing votes only have to be sufficient to make up a difference between a loss and a victory to be signficant. The fact that Bush did NOT win Ohio by a wide margin shows they played a key role in the victory.
It is tiresome having to explain the obvious to the oblivious.

it does.

Swing voters by definition are neither hard core conservative nor hard core liberal. Swing voters does not equal strongly pro-life voters. Swing voters come in all shades. You haven't made any sense so far. Merely the latest in your no-sense making screeches. So what's new?
To: meg88
How long until the first primary??????? Toooooooooo early for anybody to get whipped up into a frenzy about any candidate. Especially one who is trying to re-invent himself as a conservative.
