Well, there's a year left to go before the Primaries. Maybe by that time we'll have more competitive candidates than the current triumvirate of liberal Republicans pretending to be conservatives.
If not I'll just roll over and go back to sleep.

Hope the shills get it all out of their system soon so we can rationally get to the issues before anyone really has to vote on anything.

"Mitt Romney now can be called a conservative. "
Well, apparently the Bush Family and Carol Rove are now backing Romney.

Consider the sarcastic reflection of this denizen of the right-wing website Free Republic Hey someone actually didn't call us a "blog" and also didn't call us "left wing".
To: Torie
I propose we shift the debate away from the traditional "left-right" framework. This implies that there is some legitimacy to the arguments of the left, or that somehow, for the majority of Americans, the answer lies in the "middle".
To call it "good" and "evil" is the right idea, but bad marketing. Same with "right" and "wrong". Perhaps "fair" and "unfair" comes close.
With all the major issues (abortion, security, immigration, taxes, education, health care, environment) there are stances which are fair and unfair. To simply say there are views on the "left" and on the "right" for each of these is to imply an equally legitimate footing for both, when any rational person can see this is not the case.

Typical, they have NO clue what conservatives are about, and certainly not Free Republic! We can read them like books, speed reading through it in record time. And that is NOT even close to what we think.
They should leave that type of thing to us, they are not good at it.

Who knows where Romney stands???
As a proud citizen of Massachusetts, the state that is home to flip-flopper "for it before against it" Kerry, Romney has apparently drunk deep from flip-flop fountain.

This proves that the MSM believes Romney is a conservative, and therefore must be roughed up. NO! What it proves is that he's a Republican! BIG difference!

Allright, an AP hit piece!
The MSM has more acute RINOdar than we. Real RINO's don't get rinky-dink MSM hit pieces such as this. This proves that the MSM believes Romney is a conservative, and therefore must be roughed up.
