And employeers dont have the right to cheap illegal labor.. Employers have the right to negotiate the best wage the employer and potential employee can agree upon. Government interference at the behest of labor unions has distorted that right. And the scary thing is, many of the posters on this thread have no problem with, what is essentially, a socialist position (government interference in private business).

They have no right to hire people who break our immigration laws and they are not entitled to the government loosing them so they can depress wages.
I am neither 'pro-union' nor a free traitor, there is a relationship to be had and despite the fact there are some people in the world who will do a job for 10% of what an American will do it for our social contract should keep abuses down to a minimum.

You are obviously not up on hiring laws. You must have a SS# or valid green card. You must fill out an I-9 showing proof of being able to legally work in the US. I'm not going to take the time to explain it to you but no, you can't "hire anyone you want". This refers also to your post #358 which stated "an employer can hire whomever he pleases". That is blatently false and you are apparently not knowledgeable in this area.
