OK, so individuals possessing nukes is protected under the 2nd Amendment.

And since I believe nukes are NOT protected under the 2nd Amendment, I am "privately interpreting" the Constitution. Whereas you saying that possessing nukes is Constitutionally protected is not.

Makes perfect sense.

My take follows directly from the actual wording. Yours does not. That is the difference.

You think like a city boy who is not much in touch with real people, like a not terribly zealous liberal. You think that if something is possible then everyone will necessarily do the thing and misuse it to the worst extent possible. That is where we get the attitude that allowing "concealed carry" necessarily means daily shootouts in the streets.

Before your started your "pissed off good 'ol boy givin' the city boy a lesson" crap, I was actually trying to argue in a civil manner. The utter incoherence of your argument has nothing to do with where I live or how many "real people" I'm in touch with. You argue kind of like a liberal, as if the particulars of life have something to do with the validity of your points (they don't by the way).

To assert that my statements are somehow on par with gun grabbers sanctimoniously preaching doom and gloom from concealed carry laws shows that you haven't read anything I've stated. I asked you a simple question, "Is possession of a nuclear weapons protected under the 2A?" I said, "No, I don't think so because they wouldn't be used by a militia", and all of a sudden I'm Sarah Brady. Have you ever argued with a "real person" on this issue before?

If "arms" in the Constitution mean every kind of vehicle and weapon to you, from .22 pistols to a 50 megaton nuke, good luck with that. I'll respectfully disagree. In your mind, you might be making perfect sense, I'll just have to take your word for it.

You seem pretty interested in military hardware history, have you ever seen this thing? Ekranoplan

I've never seen one but I'm familiar with 'em- In Airframe and Powerplant school we saw film and argued about whether they were ground-effect or cavitation aircraft, AKA *KIWIS*.

You really ought to post that on one of the MilTech FReep threads. Most of my experience with Russian hardware is with things on treads that make loud BOOM noises, though I've flown as a passenger on some interesting Russian aircraft. That's one reason for my fascination with and preference for the ex-Soviet railway systems of Russia.

Good morning.
"Zumbo attempted to soothe readers, attributing his remarks to being tired following a long day of hunting coyotes in extreme weather conditions."

I wonder if Zumbo was using a .223 caliber hunting rifle to kill the coyotes, as so many varmint hunters do?

Good morning.
"...don't people hunt mule deer with AKS rifles, or AK clones?"

It doesn't matter if they do or not. The 2nd Amendment doesn't say "Shall not be infringed except when it comes to hunting deer". A gunner and a wordmeister like Zumbo should have understood that and made it clear to one and all that he did.

I'll bet your namesake would have assaulted you for your comments.

I understand that- I was surprised that a "master hunter" like Zumbo never saw anyone hunting with one.

RKBA is not about hunting, I'm with you on that.
