Tsunami Bulletin Number 001 Pacific Tsunami Warning Center/NOAA/NWS Issued at 0819z 20 Feb. 2007

This bulletin is for all areas of the Pacific basin except Alaska - British Columbia - Washington - Oregon - California.

... Tsunami information bulletin ...

This message is for information only.

An earthquake has occurred with these preliminary parameters

Origin time - 0805z 20 Feb. 2007 Coordinates - 1.0 South 126.9 East Location - Southern Molucca Sea Magnitude - 6.8

Evaluation

This earthquake is located outside the Pacific. No tsunami threat exists to Coastlines in the Pacific.

However - earthquakes of this size sometimes generate local tsunamis that can be destructive along coasts located within a few hundred kilometers of the earthquake epicenter. Authorities in the region of the epicenter should be aware of this possibility and take appropriate action.

This center monitors only a limited number of sea level gauges outside the Pacific so it may not be able to quickly detect or measure a tsunami if one was generated. Authorities can assume the danger has passed if no tsunami waves are observed near the epicenter within an hour of the earthquake.

This will be the only bulletin issued for this event unless additional information becomes available.

The Japan meteorological agency may also issue tsunami messages for this event to countries in the NorthWest Pacific and South China Sea region. In case of conflicting information... The more conservative information should be used for safety.

The West Coast/Alaska Tsunami Warning Center will issue bulletins for Alaska - British Columbia - Washington - Oregon - California.

A lot of earthquakes recently. It must be due to the earths expansion caused by global warming. I have decided to name my scientific theory of this.....Earth Al-Gorging. Oops, did I say theory? I meant FACT, based of the vast amount of speculation and imagination invested in it.

Well if you want to name a theory how about make it an economic fiscally sound one.

South American migration to a childless procreating North American and sending funds to Family we could be fair in calling it the Bank of America or Chase Manhattan fault line all those $$$$ going South are sure to set off the Richter scale. 8.0 in Chile

Allah and friends who lost their last battle in the 7th century.

What we are doing now is recruiting the kids to high tech living. No desire for Jihad when you have Maxim magazine ads as a sniffer to the New World.

Hopefully one would come to the 21st Century via Catholic/Christian values but in a free world learning the young 7th century babes to Vegas will work too. Give them a Playstation and a Porsche with ugly jeans and a polo shirt and we will win the war.

When do you have tropical temps in OREGON? So you must be praying for "Gorebal warming".

There is no such thing as Global warming!

That subject is getting more tired than the carpetbagger/bugger herself/her hineyness Hillary Roadhound Clinton.

We avg. 68 degrees here on the Central Oregon coast.
This 28 to 34 depending on wind chill is for the birds.

It is clear and sunny today but still to darn cold for us locals.

Old Claw Paw has had spite for us since she in hindsight went on Dave Lettermen show and laughed/joked about "those right winger" never come through my book signings.

Next day in Portland she stopped the book signing to do a photo op with my quadroplegic son.

Then he left and went out and did an interview with the Oregonian about well a right winger not only went through her book signing but she stopped the show to do a photo op with one.
Printed in ink for eternity.

Hill larious. All in fun ya know.
