1) Fathers why are you allowing your child to attend government school? Even if your child's "Blue Ribbon" school doesn't have a gay club, do you honestly think that they aren't recruiting? Do you think that somehow your child's school doesn't have a "Day of Silence" day, or that the gay agenda does not lace their health clases?
2) The gays encourage children to "explore their sexuality" by trying gay sex. Ah! But,,,once the child does try gay sex, the child is told that once gay, they are always and irredeemably gay! How's that for a mind game?
3) Fathers do you want your children associating with these club members and the teachers who support them? Well....forget about our human and our First Amendment right to free assembly! The government will dictate to you and your child exactly with whom your child will associate during their govenrment indoctrination camp day.
4) There will be govenrment school defenders on this board who will say that you choose to send your child to government schools. Well...you do have the right to **ransom** your child from govenrment school. You can pay extra to privately school or homeschool your child. You will be expected to support the government school perversion for not only the time your child is using private or home schools, but for the remainder of your lifetime!
5) In essence, the government gives you a Godfather's offer you can not refuse: Ransom your child, or use the government schools. If you refuse both of the Godfather's "choices" you face prison, and your child is threatend with foster care. Hm! Some "choice"! ( sarc.)
6) To my knowlege, no government school official has put a horse's head in the bed of any parent...not yet.
2) This is exactly what happened at East Boston High. One girl who thought she was a Lesbian at age 14, realized she was not. However the members of the anti-discrimination club who were her friends have been harassing her ever since. Sounds like Jonestown.
Becoming 'gay' is exactly like joining a cult. It is a very tight club and they don't even look to kindly at bi-sexuals. There is an enormous amount of peer presure to stay in the club and accept their principles such as you are born that way and can't change.
I have the hardest time having conversations with parents who bray on and on about how good their government schools are. Sure, parts of some of them are good, but in the big picture, the system is basically the beginning of a wastewater treatment plant.
R-I-I-G-H-T. Anyone who assumes a club with a name like "Gay-Straight Club" has ANYTHING to do with sex should get their minds out of the gutter.
Why would a kid who is not gay or has gay tendencies join a "Gay/Straight" Club, even if the word "Straight" is in its name?
It's really quite simple if you ask me. That fancy car w/the payment/higher insurance/maintenance, or your child's future?
I'll take the private school over the fancy car. Although chicks still dig a Lincoln LX. :o]
Because many kids think they're an oppressed minority. Why would any right thinking individual be pro-palestinian or pro-divestment?

I dunno, you get that fancy car and then you feel like a phoney. Like a car is going to make people like you.
That happens, but I think more often it's cooler to be friends with a victim. Shows you're seeeensitive.

There's a similar club in my elder son's high school (with the official backing of the faculty, of course).
Last year, the club distributed a ribbon everyone was encouraged to wear for a week. Many refused, in spite of pressure from their "more tolerant, more enlightened" peers. My son was one who refused.
Last night, he asked me to proofread his persuasive essay assignment. I was touched to find it was about why homosexual marriage is a bad thing.
That's my boy. :-)

Thanks for reminding me that I want to give a speech on this topic in my Toasmasters Club. We have a lot of members from the liberal university so it might be a good test. If they don't like it they can leave.
They have this crap in my kids school in Ct. And if you look into all the Gay/Straight Alliance BS, It is funded by gay dating services and Transvestite Orgs. And the schools try and tell you with a straight face it is not coming out of your TAX Dollar. What a load of Bull. They even try and get the kids to wear Black armbands, Black tshirts and pay tribute to the fallen gays with HIV called the Day of Silence. I told the Principal if they had a clue they would be honoring our TROOPS instead of HIV gays who have passed the Virus on to others without Morals.Sad thing is many Parents aren't aware this program exists.
