Does the family belong to a church? (Maybe the church could set up a fund for donations?)
They do belong to a church but I haven't heard of any plans yet. Everyone is still in shock and the news is just spreading in our circle of friends today.
They attended our church--our kids sang in the choir together when they were smaller and they have been involved in our local youth soccer league for a number of years. Erik was the coach of his son's team this year. He was just a great guy.
