Hillary's Weak Spot - She's Sen. Stubborn (Dick Morris)
Newsmax ^ | February 19, 2007 | Dick Morris and Eileen McGann

"Sorry" seems to be the hardest word for Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton.

The New York Democrat is not used to being challenged on either her policy positions or her votes - especially when it comes to Iraq. For the last six years, she's operated in a protective bubble - insulated from the press and the voters.

Those days are over.

Since she entered the presidential race two weeks ago, she's learned quickly that voters in Iowa and New Hampshire - and most likely in the rest of the country - want truthful answers and won't accept scripted spin.

During the last week, wherever Hillary campaigned, she faced one dogged question that wouldn't go away: "Are you sorry for your 2002 vote in favor of invading Iraq?"

But try as they might, neither reporters nor voters can pry the "S" word out of Hillary. She refuses to apologize for voting to authorize the use of our military.

Instead, she repeats that she "takes responsibility" for her vote and that had she "known then what I know now," she would have voted against the resolution. She reiterates that she doesn't believe in "do-overs" and even tries to persuade her listeners that she never meant to vote for "pre-emptive war" and that she was actually voting to strengthen the weapons inspectors.

Senator Hillary Clinton (D-NY) believes she has already served eight years as "co-president" and the media is presumtive and rude to ask any "hard-hitting" questions of her. Maybe there should be a rule that no two members of the same family can occupy the White House within a generation.

Her "base" won't shut up about this, and it's going to doom her. She can make all the rational revisionist history explanations she wants, and they'll never, never accept it.

...and the media is presumtive and rude to ask any "hard-hitting" questions of her.
-----
Of course they will not ask any hard-hitting questions because they will expose the fact she is not only inept, unqualified, corrupt (the list goes on) but that she is incapable of carrying a debate on any real issue important to America. The libs do not exist for America, but only for themselves.

QED.

Being a dictator means never having to say you're sorry.

I thought Hillary's weak spot was the all-you-can-eat breakfast buffet at Denny's.

For the last six fifteen years, she's operated in a protective bubble - insulated from the press and the voters.

There--fixed it.

Why won't she say she's sorry?

Simple: because she's an arrogant, conceited, deceitful, domineering, egotistical, glib, haughty, narcissistic bitch who thinks she's better than us.

And, boy, is she wrong!

Just saw Dickie on Hannity & Colmes a while ago talking about her "stubborn" streak. I usually take anything Morris says or writes with not one but two grains of salt, but he was pretty spot on about her "arrogance" and "stubborness" - traits commonly found in the typical totalitarian dictator types.

"usually take anything Morris says or writes with not one but two grains of salt"

I agree.

I have found, though, that while he is lousy at prognostication he is quite good at analyzing past events.

He keeps saying she will be president and he is always wrong about future predictions so I take comfort in this.

Oh, the poor dear surely must suffer from Female Prerogative Syndrome as an explanation for her lip and flop Iraq vote.

Moreover, she certainly talks as if she has already won the 2008 Presidential Election using terms such as "when I'm president" and in true Clinton fashion, if she says it enough people will already think this is so.

Stubborness can be a virtue. But when one refuses to acknowledge errors, this is not stubborness, this is false pride. A person afflicted with false pride cannot make credible decisions. There's always that gunnysack of denials hanging around her metaphysic neck, which means any "positive" directions this person might wish to obtain to are always laden with a suffering which most generally gets inflicted upon others.

I have no use for Dick Morris. He is a slimeball who if you remember correctly got himself in trouble for his dealings with a hooker who he used to let listen in on his conversations with Slick Willy and who he leaked presidential speeches to. The man is shameless and will say anything to draw attention to himself and make a quick buck. I put very little stock in his opinions. He isn't on our side.

Hillary has evolved once again ,now we must be out of Iraq in 90 days ,SHE HAS A PLAN !!! sounds like Kerrys Plan that never materialized . Remember when everyone was talking about George Bushs resolve? It was described by democrats as Arrogance and stubborness. What does that answer to that questioner on the campaign trail the other day sound like, if you dont like my answer on the question about whether I am sorry for my vote there are other candidates in the race you can support . ARROGANCE AND SNOBBERY PERSONIFIED !That is the real HILLARY
