The Dems are pushin' to make the same "mistake" that they did in VN. They WANT us to fail, so the US will be further weakened...

I have since regretted that vote deeply. I admitted to the residents of my district over a year and a half ago that I made a mistake, taking total responsibility for my vote. I did so because the premise on which we authorized the war in Iraq was false, the military plan for victory has been weak and more than five years after Sept.11 this war has made our nation less safe, not more so. Tough Sh*t Sherlock! Regardless of how you feel now about your vote, we happen to be in a war and withdrawal is just not acceptable. If case you haven't noticed, we have an enemy that has declared war on us, and your feelings are not going to change that!

I'll give him at least partial credit because of the adjective in the way. :)

Hey Bill, Hillary said she won't apologize for her vote because she didn't trust the intel from the Bush Administration. So, she went to Madeline Albright, Sandy Burger and George Tenent. They went over the intel they used for passage of the Iraq Liberation Act of 1998 and reaffirmed their knowledge of Saddam's threat. Tom Tancredo has a photo of the victimes of Saddam's Chemical Weapons. Go by his office he'll show it to you.

"and more than five years after Sept.11 this war has made our nation less safe, not more so."No attacks on US soil nor US embassies being blown to smithereens as in the 1990s!
"House Concurrent Resolution 63 states the continued support of Congress for American troops fighting in Iraq while adamantly disapproving of the President's ill-conceived plan to deploy more than 20,000 additional combat troops into harm's way."
Attacks in Baghdad have dropped 80% due to the President's plan.
Attacks in Baghdad down by 80%
Just admit it pal, you have swallowed the BS!

Being too pedantic, either way is correct. It depends on whether or not you pronounce the 'H'.
To: Coleus
this war has made our nation less safe, not more so. I continue to be amazed at the short-sighted ignorance of so many people. Have you (liberals) not noticed the absence of major terrorist attacks on our soil in the past six years? Have you not noticed that terrorists around the world are on the run and have not been able to get organized enough to plan and carry out any major attacks? I have been disappointed in President Bush for various things, but his strategy of taking the war to the terrorists is nothing short of courageously brilliant.

I weary of the Democrats acting on Iraq Just as they did
when America elected Nixon-- to a Democrat ,I guess, having any Republican as Commander in chief is a greater
threat to their Power than any enemy our military is called to respond to. Just like Kerry meating and treating with the enemy while we yet had men deployed in the Republic Of Vietnam-- we now have Democrats jumping
in bed with the bloody Muslims just to make President Bush
look bad. They would demoralize our troops /keep us from any victory -just to make the Democrats look better.

we're there.
finish the job. the ONLY responsible thing to do.

Pyrrhus lost around 1/3rd of his army fighting the Romans. We've lost less than 0.25% of our active forces in Iraq. This guy has no sense of proportions if he thinks a victory in Iraq compares at all to Pyrrhus'.
