Yes. Under McCain-Feingold we find ourselves under the state's heavy thumb of oppression. Why, we can't even post our views on the internet, send out political flyers, buy radio airtime, or do hardly anything at all. Ok, sarcasm off.
Seriously, I don't agree with all the details of CFR, but it's hardly the attack on our liberty that you claim. It was a misguided pragmatic effort to change the way we conduct presidential election campaigns. It ain't a bloody gulag.

I don't either .. and I think his voting record might show something contrary to what he's saying.

What about the lives of all the documents on the POWs he shredded?
Those lives don't count?

Then what? A 50-state battle with state courts in liberal states reinstating Roe.
We need:
1. A constitutional amendment banning abortion; and, if not, then:
2. Legislation outlawing transit from one state to another to get an abortion or abortion counseling;
3. Ban on interstate travel by abortion doctors for the purpose of engaging in their deadly trade;
4. A ban on the interstate commerce in vacuum pumps and other medical equipment manufactured or purchased for the purpose of performing abortions; and
5. Enactment of federal licensing standards for abortionists that impose stringent residency requirements, educational requirements and testing.
Would any candidate support this?

NARAL still wants to shove it's [sic]
viewpoint down the throat of the public and so do pro-lifers. Neither wish to allow the public to have its voice heard.NARAL didn't have to shove it's viewpoint down the throat of Rudy. Instead, they gave him an award for his continuing support of their agenda.
So what's the point of McCain's pander?
Gee, maybe because Rudy's pander on this subject (claiming to want to appoint strict construtionists) has worked so well to date?

I don't think he's really interested in overturning Roe.I don't think he is either. With all the crap he's pulled in the past, to me this is nothing but a bunch of pandering.
Only an uninformed fool would believe he's a "straight talker".

My, my, my. He's held office since 1982 and hasn't lifted a finger to get rid of RvW. Why should we believe that he'll do it now?

Any day now, JR will post a poll along the lines of "will you vote for the old crazy guy with the big R..." etc. I'm pretty sure the big R candidate will still get something close to a plurality of Freeper support.

What has GWB done to get rid of RvW in the last 6 years? Truth is, no one can really get rid of it except the USSC.

Sounds like McCain's trying to run to the right of Rudy Just so you know, I think Giuliani has always thought that Roe was a bad decision. (Constitutionally, that is.)
