Agreed! He should have stuck to his guns instead of groveling, he has the right to his opinion! He's also a millionaire, so if nobody hires him for PC reasons, SO WHAT? I imagine that his handlers are all 20-and 30-somethings for whom queers have 'always' been liberated.
