No you are not. I feel sick. I heard a caller on Sean Hannity's show talk about how she felt sick to her stomach. It is affecting us all. It is that bad, and by whatever legal means Murtha and the other traitors have to be stopped. For once, we should be the ones to play in that grey zone where what is unethical and what is legal are hard to distinguish.

They have insinuated themselves into the system and found the safest place from which to do what they Ayatollahs could only dream of.

No, Dog, you are not alone. The issue really is that in all truth we are probably no longer a nation any longer. We are at least two nations, if not more with the Balkanization that has occurred. The Democrats, the Left, view those who believe in a stout America that defends itself with vigor, offensively if required, as the great enemy. They DO NOT believe that Islamists, or Al Qaeda, or anyone else is the enemy to be defeated: They believe that their internal political enemies are the enemy to be defeated.

The other America is the America that you know and remember...but it is only half of America now. The other half views America as needing to become the rotten corpse that is socialist Europe today. That's what they view as our future...a future with them in power completely, ruling over a failing and rotting nation that can be completely and utterly controlled to their [short-term] benefit.

This is why you are heartsick. That nation is gone, replaced by a fracturing Republic. It was happening before, but Bush's election in 2000 sent the Left over the edge. They will take power or destroy the nation utterly trying.

No, you are not alone.

We have gotten to where we are by the insidious creep of Marxism into our nation. It began with Stalinist plants into FDR's bureaus, many of whom went on to infect academe. 1960's radical liberalism helped to sweep an ideology that the nation willful "blacklisted" into the foreground and made it popular. Moral relativism and it's degenerate offspring Political Correctness neutered the sharp mind of America and made us impotent in seeing and speaking the truth: that there have been and still are totalitarian forces that loathe our way of life, covet our wealth, and despise our freedom and want to make us their slaves.

How did we arrive here?

Simple: We the people, told God that He holds no voice in our lives, so we do what we want (Judg 21:25). As a consequence, God doesn't fight for us anymore (Isaiah 1:14-15). The testimony of history tells us that the slide is initially gradual, almost imperceptible (ex: school prayer yanked..1962), until we arrive at the apex of the point of no return. I think it's a momentum = (mass X velocity) type thing. After that, it will be rapid and violent, all the way down. As much as I'd like to see a national repentance, I'm sorry to say my faith is weak that it will occur.

The "Good News" (Greek: "Gospel") surrounding all of this, is that God has an eternal plan (Jn 3:16), far bigger than the United States of America (Mt 28:19-20). We can either get with that plan and be on the winning team (Rev 21:7), or watch the national tailspin to its final conclusion (a la abortion, apathy, blasphemy, corruption, drug addiction, diseases, family disintegration, gangs, greed, immodesty, pornography, racism, relativism, slothfulness.....), and stay on the ultimate losing team (Rev 20:12-15).
