think of the stupidity of these politicians and their constituents. They will go home and brag they took the wonderful step of criticizing the president for doing something in a war, while they in fact didn't do a damn thing. They just voted to complain.
hy waste energy over a meaningless vote -- do you really think that anyone would believe the bob inglis or walter jones do not support the us military.... if the measure had teeth, the outcome would have been different.
so you can spin you wheels -- i think the rest of us should just move along.
What is their objection to building up and swiftly wrapping this up? How many of these idiots voted for or supported the Iraq war before they were against it? Cowards!
"...Ramstad is a member of The Republican Main Street Partnership. He is pro-choice, supports stem cell research and is opposed to gay marriage.[He is considered to be the most moderate Republican member of the Minnesota delegation in the 109th Congress, scoring 79% conservative by a conservative group[3] and 20% progressive by a liberal group. Minnesota Congressional Districts shows the scores for the entire delegation.
"Ramstad is an admitted recovering alcoholic since 1981. Ramstad's sister, Sheryl Ramstad-Hvass, is currently a Tax Court Judge in Minnesota.
I can't ever remember anyone referring to his "wife," so he may have never married or is divorced. If anyone knows please post.
Punishment is already on the way. This is national suicide and got a bad feeling it will be coming right along unless a majority of the electorate wakes up. Forget the representatives, they are merely the voice of the voters, who spoke last November. Talking in their sleep, but it counts.
They just voted to give aid and comfort to the enemy.

Ron Paul is a partner with Dennis Kucinich on the Iraq War. He's a disgrace.
Does Paul caucus with the Republicans? I think he is an
In-depends
Ramstad is in my state. He represents a district adjacent to the one I live in.
I have contributed money to his campaign.
I will be reconsidering any future contributions.
Anyone who voted for this does not support the military. Period.
Proud to say that my congress criter John Carter (TX) voted against the Terrorist Support Bill
..Gene Taylor always supports the military--he's in the wrong party IMO...
Actually the turncoat ba$tards can vote all they want....Thank God the President will do what he thinks is right to protect the American people. History will be very kind to this President.
Please don't focus solely on the 17 scum republicans. This Congress is controlled by democrats and this vote never would have happened otherwise. This is as sick and stupid a left wing democrat Congress as the one that abandoned millions to death in IndoChina and crippled the CIA and the US military.
Should call themselves the republican lame street
From his website:
"Congressman Kirk is a Naval Reserve intelligence officer who served during conflicts with Iraq, Haiti, and Bosnia. He served four tours at sea and three in Panama. The U.S. Navy named Kirk 'Intelligence Officer of the Year' in 1999 for his combat service in Kosovo. Kirk flew on missions over Iraq and continues to serve one weekend a month in the Pentagon. Kirk is the only member of Congress to serve stateside during Operation Iraqi Freedom and was an air crewman over Iraq during Operation Northern Watch."
