Thank you for posting the list.

Whether Democrat or Republican, those voting for this resolution voted against our country and our troops. It is sickening!

I know that there is a terrible drug problem in Surfside but I didn't know ron paul was a crack smoking traitor. I just thought he was an idiot. Guess I was wrong about him.

>> NOW it's SEVENTEEN Republican wimps? I am truly ashamed that one of them...Howard Coble...is from my state. <<

Two of them are from your state, Coble and Walter Jones. Jones is far worse.

I don't like Ron Paul these days. He was a good congressman years ago. I voted for him but wouldn't today.

Too bad it doesn't apply in this situation. Paul voted on the resolution as he did because that was the proper Constitutional stance. I'm not sure why Coble and Jones did but it is interesting that Jones was the idiot that came up with the stupid 'Freedom Fries'

Davis, Inglis and Keller are shockers, but we can get them in a primary.

Perhaps Parks Helms, who still admires Black, can join him in the future.

>> It was very disappointing to see Illinois Rep. Mark Kirk's YEA vote. <<

The typical spin from the Kirk apologists has always been "he might not be with us on domestic issues, but we need Kirk in there instead of a Democrat because he supports the President on the WOT"

It's all B.S. Kirk could care less about "supporting the President", Kirk votes whatever way is politically adventeous to him at the time. And I refuse to believe Kirk "needs" to support partial birth abortion to "win" in his "swing" district. Most pro-choice people are not even as liberal as he is.

Kirk is a dyed-in-the-wool RINO who hides behind his "disgushed service" like Kerry. He wants everyone to believe his "record" and campaign skills make him electable in that district when the truth is the only reason he "won" in the first place is he was the chief of staff of the retiring Congresssman and won on THAT guy's coattails. If Kirk had been an unknown twerp with the same RINO "record", he would have never made it through the primary.

This little backstabbing twerp needs a real primary challenge in 2008 so he can stop taking GOP voters for granted. Kirk is shameless.

Let's see, that's 5 from the northeast, 5 from southern states, 5 from the midwest and throw in one each from FL and TX.

Gee, not one from California. Without the TX votem there wouldn't be one vote from west of Wisconsin.

Democracy, it's not perfect, but it's better than anything else out there.

There were plenty of treasonous votes cast by California congresscritters, it's just that none of them were Republicans. On the whole, the CA Republican delegation is pretty good. Bilbray's probably the most liberal of the bunch and he's right on immigration at least. The only other "moderates" are Bono and Lewis, everyone else is reliable.

The local officials are another story. If Ahnuld was in Congress, we'd probably have 18 NAYS right now.

For the entire 246 who voted yea on this , perhaps it is time for our country to recognize them each with a white feather.

During WWI in Great Britian those of military age who did not enlist were frequently handed white feathers. The symbol has since become associated with cowardice.

As we look at their districts, it will probably turn out they're mostly in strong Dim majority districts and are a lot more afraid of a Dim opponent in '08 than Republicans around the country.
