What’s that about a consensus concerning anthropogenic global warming? Well, regardless of the assertions by such experts as Al Gore and Ellen Goodman, more and more professionals actually involved in the climate industry are speaking out against this man-made myth.
The most recent announcement by skeptics came during a panel discussion Tuesday evening in Mayfield Heights, Ohio.
Laufman, who has free-lanced for WOIO Channel 19 and taught meteorology courses at several local colleges, including Case Western Reserve University, also referenced history.
"There was also a significant spike in world temperatures during the 1400s -- and that was well before the Industrial Revolution," he said "We haven't studied it long enough to know what causes global warming."
Even Webster, who now lives in Hilton Head, S.C., but flew in this week to moderate the discussion, was flippant.
"Where's Al Gore now?" he joked with the audience, referring to the former vice president and his documentary film, "An Inconvenient Truth," which argues the case for global warming. "You can bet he's not in New York, where they've got nearly 12 feet of snow right now."

Global warming is nothing more than the tool the left has created as a means to impose its agenda. If the myth of global warming ever became accepted the left could then impose all sorts of taxes and restrictions on things they personally do not like. Oil industry? Tax it. Want to buy a bigger car? Nope, that would be illegal. Want to site business "X" downtown? No can do unless you have clearance from the federal ministry of pollution control.
A regular ole heat wave going on here. 14 degrees now.
Why pick on poor Al Gore? I mean, he did invent the internet and that went over pretty well, so he tried to invent global warming which doesn't appear to be going so great. But, at least, he's trying to keep up with inventing new stuff for the good of suffering humanity. What are the rest of us doing except making fun of him? Maybe we should all be a lot more like him - smoke a bunch of pot and come up with fantastic new inventions.
