There was a global warming meeting that was canceled
last week due to Snow! Isn't that a knee slapper.

We keep hearing how "the debate is over", "the science is settled", etc. Yet look at how much was missing from climate models in the early 1990's -- these were the models that generated the predictions that justified the Kyoto agreement.

BTW, this chart is from the UN IPCC itself. http://www.grida.no/climate/ipcc_tar/vol4/english/images/wg1figts-box3.gif

You are exactly right, the seasons have been shifting for a number of years now. It gets hot later in the summer and cold later in the winter. I think we can fix the the whole thing by having spring start 21 April, summer about 21 July, fall about 21 Oct and winter 21 Jan.....see it all fits now. Just you and me and an idea! You think we should charge someone for solving the global warming problem?

Why are most conservative anti-science?

First - My post has nothing to do with science. I simply stated that records have only been kept since 1880. That's only 127 years of earth's history.

Second - What makes you think most conservatives are anti-science?

Third - What's the point of your question?

Most Republicans would agree with you that science and religion are compatible. No issue there.

I just ran the numbers for my area.

Yeah... January was warmer than normal: +5.6F

So far, the past four weeks - Jan-Feb : -6.96F

It appears that we're going to make up for some of that abnormally warm air... which, of course, is why it is known as abnormal.

Same here.

Accuweather has everything one needs for each month and its history. Though pointless to show to a GW believer.
