Great, just great! At least I was happy for a while when I heard he won on the radio.
NOTE:
Yahoo! will undergo a site-wide system upgrade from this Thursday, February 15, at 10:00pm PST through Friday, February 16, at 4:00am PST. During that time, you will not be able to register for the game or make line-up changes to your Fantasy Auto Racing team. Thank you for your understanding.

Bummer about the 24 car.
It's a long race, if he has a good car , he'll be up in the front pack by the half way point. just have to avoid the Big One and the rookies..
Just shuffled the driver picks a bit after that tidbit, Thanks!

"Honestly, I think it's something a mechanic made a mistake on as he bolted the shocks on during the installation process," Pemberton said.
What a crock. They hand out all these penalities and fines. But Noooooooooooooo, not with good old black haired golden boy. Now you tell me, with all his experience that he doesn't know that he's riding an inch lower?
I am shocked that the others fined and penalized have not spoken up. I say, YET.
OK, that was my rant.
But why wasn't this picked up during inspection?

And for the second straight year at Daytona NASCAR shows Preferential treatment to thier annointed ones at hendrick Motorsports. ONe has to wonder what Rick Hendrick has on Brian France that allows Hendrick drivers to cheat and cheat and have NASCAR look the other way constantly.
INADVERTANT MY ASS! The bolt was misaligned -- you are going to tell me that the crew of a FOUR TIME CHAMPION and members of the Same Race team as the defending Champion DON'T KNOW HOW TO INSTALL A SHOCK?????????
Sorry - NASCAR set the bar with the Penalties to Kenseth and the Evernham Team on AERODYNAMIC INFRACTIONS. Then they undo everything in one fell swoop by kissing LIL JEFFY's BUTT and telling "oh we are so sorry we caught your team cheating again. It will never happen again Mr. Gordon Sir. Please tell Mr. Hendrick we are sorry to inconvenience him."

You honestly believe, with all the press reports and added scrutiny, the 24 team would install an "auto-drop" bolt that would lower the car after it passed the pre-race tech inspection?
And how would that bolt know exactly when to drop?

I didn't say that. ;)
Sure seems to be a stretch that both would drop the same. The shocks themselves maybe, but they didn't say that.
Still can't believe they haven't identified MW mystery substance. Talked to an old timer today who's dad 'almost' built the Martinsville track (he couldn't see any future in it). He said they haven't even proved there was a benefit from it.
Don't think I'll make the second race, just about to crash and burn. :(

Nobody has answered my question yet. Why wasn't this picked up on inspection? One inch lower is one inch lower. Dahhh.

I had to wear my old spiked golf shoes to get to my van at the top of the hill. 110 foot driveway was all ice.
Hey, just a few weeks in March I'm going to spring training to watch some games in Florida. I will be coming back for the 17th in DC though.

If Rudy shows up at the race, I guess that I will just bust a blood vessel.

"Nice to see Jr. close to the front. "And with an almost wrecked car thank to MW. The team and the driver did a hell of a job to keep that car in contention.
