I admired how calmly that driver climbed out of the burning car, rather James Bond-like.
My thoughts exactly. Totally unnecessary and NASCAR is lucky not one driver was seriously injured in that debacle.
Biffle went from 4th to 25th because of that ruling.
Screw NASCAR. How freaking ridiculous.
Sadly, I agree. And one day, somebody will get seriously hurt. You would think they would have learned from Earnhardt's death.
YOu definately keep racing until you see the yellow come out -- but NASCAR seems to pick and choose when they decide to throw the Yellow --- Twice at talledega now they have tossed the yellow in when the leaders were in the middle of 3 and 4 -- just coincdentally while Hendrick cars were momentarily in the lead.
Darn good thing that car turned wheels down at the end so he could get out.

Then why throw ith yellow at all, wait a few beats and then freeze the field? That seems a bit capricious. It's confusing to me. Ah, fergit it... :)
David Ragan finished 5th? Whoah.
Thread got real popular all of a sudden.
He had his priorities!
That was my first impression, but my second was to wonder what we would be thinking if they had thrown the yellow with only a 100 yards to the finish?
What if it was anyone else but Martin?
I dunno........Maybe it was a good call.
LOL! Get used to it. It's one of their judgment calls and I'm sure it won't be the last confusing thing to happen this year.
Ah, fergit it... :)
That's the best thing to do. :-)
darn! My other C Team driver besides the one I picked Stremme, who still managed a 10th,
I'm sure it won't be the last confusing thing to happen this year.
Ditto Bump! ;-)
How'd you make out. Think I got 437
Matt the Brat strikes again. He'll get his some race soon.
