No, Iraqis do speak Arabic. It's Iranians (ancient Persians) who speak Farsi.

But it doesn't matter in this case; Arabic is the "official" religious language of Islam. A phrase such as "Allah Akbar" would be common to all.

No way. I made my living by listening closely to recorded sounds and music for many years, and I’d bet big money that the ‘allahu akbar’ chant is not on that tape. There’s a very characteristic sing-song quality to the chant, that you can hear even in last-minute suicide bomber tapes, and I do not hear that at all in the SLC video.

well thats all I have of it. See I used windows media encoder to capture just that one little bit via my speakers. Not high tech but I figured it would be enough to play with if people didnt want to hear the whole thing.

I can try to capture the whole audio if that is what you want.

Agreed. I lived for years in a muslim culture and while I have forgotten most of the Arabic I learned, I do not believe that the tape contains "Allahu akbar" which is pronounced with a particular accent. The fact that he probably did not speak Arabic is not relevent, since all Muslims would know that Islamic chant.

Correct, I heard Allah Akbar shouted by the killer almost at the end of the video. Many muslims shout Allah Akbar when they are being attacked or when they are attacking or when they are excited about something. This killer ( I will say terrorist) is a Bosnian so he does not know Arabic except for some muslim prayers which are recited in Arabic even by muslims who do not speak Arabic, they just memorize it.
