Lefty radio listeners are wondering what in the world is going on at KCTC (1320 AM), Sacramento's local Air America affiliate. The morning team of Scott & Sims has been off the air as of Monday, and afternoon drive-time host Enid Goldstein is gone, too.

Now we'll be down to only one lefty station that no one listens to, Talk City 1240. They run Stephanie Miller in the morning, some financial show in the early afternoon, Christine Craft in the late afternoon and the truly vile Mike Malloy in the evening. I believe they have dozens of listeners.

Tiny tommie daschle is deeply disappointed.

Actually, everytime a station owner makes a business decision to drop Err Amerika, it adds more support for the "Fairness Doctrine". We need to start petitioning radio stations across the country to carry Err Amerika and demand . . . . DEMAND that Al Frankencense and myrrh be included in the deal. That way we keep the Fairness Doctrine at bay, give the libbies a public vehicle for their hysterical, anti-America, hate Bush rants, and we keep Frankencense from being able to run for Congress!!

Triple play!!!

Al Franken quit Airhead America today to start his run for Norm Coleman's Senate seat. The way Coleman's been voting, no one would notice the difference if Franken wins.

I listened to the other lefty station in town this afternoon. The party line is that AA allowed itself to be taken over by the evil radio corporations that had no ideological belief in the product so it was predictable that said corporations would throw them over the side.

Profit never entered the conversation.

Let's see how long before Air America Radio officially calls it quits. They won't be missed, that's to be sure.
